7:45 pm
"So... what are we going to do now?", asked Stacey, sitting on her desk.
James and Daniel were sitting on their chairs. "I don't know. Let's start from the beginning. So... Selma called you on your phone to probably tell you, that she has found something. She got kidnapped and then we located her phone to find- "
"Her phone!", Selma jumped up knocking her chair over. Daniel jumped up in surprise and James was so frightened, he fell backwards with his chair.
"We located her phone. McDonalds probably has an own telephone pole. So it located each and every phone in the surrounding." Stacey started walking around in the office.
"Okay, and what's the deal with that?", James groaned from the ground, rubbing the back of his head and slowly getting up.
"Well, I suppose, the Kidnapper has a phone. We could try and locate the phone that's the closest to Selma's at the time she called me. That was around... 6:30 pm."
"That's a great idea." Daniel jumped up and ran to another spot in the office. After a while he came back with Tyler, the information scientist in the police station.
8:34 pm
"Okay, I think i have all the cellphone locations from 6:25 to 6:35.", Tyler said, typing a lot of numbers on the keyboard.
"There, that's Selma's phone." Stacey pointed at a red dot that is moving towards a busstop a the time goes by.
"Look. This one's getting closer." Daniel was right. A red dot was exiting the building and moving towards Selma's dot.
"Tyler, whose phone is this?"James asked.
"One second..." he typed a million things into the keyboard again. "Molly Greye's phone."
James had a really angry look on his face. He looked like he was going to run amok at any moment. "That Little b-"
He was cut off by Daniel. "Tyler, can you tell us her address?"
9:12 pm
The Police trio stood in front of the apartment door of Molly Greye. They were all hiding behind the walls next to the door. All three of them were wearing their bulletproof vests and were holding their handguns, their pointer fingers already on the trigger.
"Molly Greye. Open the door!" Stacey shouted. When no answer was heard she yelled one more time.
Now she had enough. They all stepped away from the doorway to make room for James, who was now kicking down the door. The door burst open with a *bang*. Then all three of them ran in, each looking into another room.
The living room: "Clear!"
The kitchen: "Clear!"
The bathroom: "Clear!"
The balcony: "Clear!"
The bedroom: "..."
Stacey took turn to check the bathroom and the bedroom. Everything was alright with the bathroom, but when she entered the bedroom found something very disturbing. There was, of course, a bed standing beneath the window, a shelve standing next to it, a carpet lied down on the floor and a desk. On the desk there were three monitors. They were all showing different locations of a house. The first one was showing a door, that lead into the house. The wall was made of concrete and cement. The second monitor showed a hallway. It was lit with a light, that hung at the wall. And the third one didn't show anything. There was just darkness.
"Stacey! Are you okay?!" Someone called from another room. But she didn't listen. She staring at the third monitor. All of the sudden a light switch was turned on in the room. Stacey saw someone sitting on a chair. A woman with black hair.
Another woman walked towards her with a bag. She placed it onto a metal desk that stood next to the black haired woman. And now Stacey saw the face of the woman at last. It was Selma who was sitting on that chair. She watched the other woman closely. That woman looked much alike Molly Greye.
Someone burst into the bedroom. "Stacey, are you al-?" "Shhhhhhh", she answered, waving her colleagues towards her. The two men gathered up behind Stacey and watched.
Molly was talking something. Unfortunately the three officers couldn't hear what she said. But what they could see was, that apparently Selma said "no" to whatever Molly said. This made Molly angry. She opened the bag she brought with her and took a scalpel, that was tied in with some other tools.
"Okay, that's it!", Stacey shouted, startling the two men behind her. She pulled out her phone and took a photo from the three monitors, making the locations look as best as possible.
"Let's get back to the police station. Fast!"
9:48 pm
"Have you found the location yet?" The three officers sat next to Tyler and looked at him excited for the results.
"Yes, I have. The building, where Selma might be kept is in the 13th alley west."
"Thank you so much Tyler. We owe you one. Now go home and sleep." Stacey quickly hugged Tyler, then grabbed Daniel and James by their wrists and dragged them towards the elevator.
"I will. And good luck!"
