I woke up twice druning the night. I made sure that the alram wasn't too loud, but I could hear that someone was walking down the hallway. I pulled my aching body out of the bed to see who it was. If it was Sam, I knew that I was going to run back to my room.

I walked in the hall and I saw that it was one of the guys. I couldn't make out which one as he walked to the living room. I followed him to the living room, where he stopped.

"Delilah, you should be sleeping." Castiel told me. I sighed in relief that it was Castiel.

"I know, but I couldn't. What you said made me nervous." I told him. I was trying to say that I was sorry, but I sort of wasn't. He shouldn't have been looking at my soul like that. He shouldn't have commented anything on it.

"How did you even know and how is Sam's worse?" I asked the angel. He turned and fa ced me in the dark. THere was a slight glow coming from a light that was left on.

"Sit down, you're in pain." He said quietly. I wasn't going to argue with him. My back was hurting. I sat on the couch and he sat with me.

Castiel then began to explain that angels see souls. He told me that Sam's soul was in a cage with Lucifer and Micheal. They were angels too. There was so much pain that sam had gone through. He knew that Dean had a broken soul too, but it was in a different way. Dean had been through so much heart break. While Sam's, and my own, had actually been broken.

Once we were done talking, I realized that was why Dean told me not to wake Sam. Because that was his way of defending himself. I wake up every 5 hours to do the same. Castiel and I stayed on the couch for a while longer.

"Thanks, that helps a lot." I told the angel quietly. I left the couch and I knew that he was following me. We walked to my room where I went back to my bed and he sat at the end. I didn't want to say anything, but I knew that I had to.

"What are you doing?" I asked him. He looked at me like I should have already known this.

"Dean told me that I was to watch you while you sleep. I don't sleep, so I don't see why I shouldn't." He told me. I made sure to make a mental note to tell Dean that I was fine.

"Okay, thanks." I whispered as I fell back to sleep. I needed to remember all of this for later.

Once I was awake for the second time, Charlie greeted me. She and I had breakfast together. It was mostly quiet. I was too afraid to say anything to her. Her hair was put up in a pony tail and she had glasses on. She would look over and smile at me from time to time.

Sam and Dean came out from somewhere and came to the table. They told us that they were going to research about the demon tablet for the day. I wasn't sure if they wanted us to not help or not. Charlie convinced them that she could help and I agreed. I had to study anyways.

The day felt like it was taking forever. I hated learning all of these things. I was able to draw them out really well, but I wasn't able to memorize what they were. I couldn't figure out what they meant. I couldn't remember which were for which.

After sitting at the table with Sam, Dean, and Charlie for over 3 hours, I almost gave up. I took all the papers and my writing and I stacked them up neatly. I needed to cry. I wasn't even smart enough to get through school and now I was just letting my real dad down too.

"What's wrong?" Charlie asked me as she looked up from her computer. Dean and Sam also looked at me. I felt like I was going to break if I said anything.

"Nothing. I'm just going to go do something else for a while." I told said quietly as I looked at the floor. There were tears in my eyes. I walked away from them quickly.
