"So what are we going to do about dragon boy?" Dean asked me as he was sitting on a park bench. I looked at him and I saw that he was still looking at me. There was something comforting about the way that he was looking at me.

"I don't know. I could talk to him. I don't think that he wants to hurt girls." I explained to Dan. Sam was listening to all of this.

"I think that you should talk to him." Sam added. I sighed and walked to the dragon. He smiled as I came closer to him. I sat next to him and he seemed to be really happy that I was there with him.

"Okay, we aren't going to kill you, but you have to promise me something." I told him.

"Anything. I'll do anything." He told me breathlessly. That was a strange response.

"No more virgins killing. They can not die anymore." I told him. He looked a little sad at that request, but it didn't seem to effect him that much.

"Consider it done." He told me with a smile. I smiled at him then I got off of the bench.

"I'll be watching. If I find out that you have been doing it again. I will have to take care of you." I told him. He knew that I would have to kill him.

"Where are you going?"

"I have to go home. My job here is done. You have a new start. Maybe owning a pawn shop would be something you would be good at. You would get to own gold." I told him. He smiled at that idea.

"I don't want to do that." He said innocently as he got off of the bench. I looked at him as he walked to me a little.

"You've changed me. I need to protect you." He told me quietly. I had read about this earlier.

"You think that I'm your mortal?" I asked him. Sometimes dragons have been known to have a mortal that they stay with.

"You are. I plan on staying with you." He told me as he grabbed my wrist lightly. I nodded my head at that. Dean wasn't going to like this idea.

"Alright, I guess we should go talk to Sam and Dean." I told him. He looked at them.

"They scare me." He confessed to me.

"It'll be fine." I whispered to him. He had super hearing, so he would hear that.

"Guys, we have an issue." I announced as I walked to Sam, Dean, and Castiel. They all got off of the impala and looked at William and myself.

"So I'm his mortal." I told them. Dean looked really confused, along with Castiel. Sam's eyes widened. He knew what that was.

"What does that mean?" Dean asked in a protective tone.

"It means that he feels like he has to protect her no matter what. He obvoiusly saw something in her that made him attracted to her." Sam said as he looked at the two of us. That was one thing that he souldn't have saide. Dean whipped his head to look at Sam. He knew that he shouldn't have mentioned that either.

"'Attraction'? No, I don't think so. A dragon is not coming near my daughter." He said mainly to the dragon. I looked at William and I could see that he was starting to get defensive.

"Okay, it's not like that." I interjected quickly.

"Then how is it?" Dean asked me. He really didn't like William near me.

"He just feels like he needs to be there so that I don't get hurt. It's just how he works. Don't blame him for something that has been happening for centuries." Dean seemed to back off a little more. I needed to make William feel comfortable.
