So you know how there are books where there are awesome other worlds invented? I want to create a world where everyone has different realities; in a way, what I'm trying to say is people live in their own self-delusions and everyone is content. So by believing what they believe, it has become their reality and I thought it would be great in questioning what reality really is; what happiness is; etc. Overall, just a really deep book.

Below is a Ted Ed video that would probably help out others interested in creating fictional worlds:

It would probably from the point of view of someone not actually part of this. Maybe 3rd person? or it could be in some ghost's point of view who lived in our era and is floating around what used to be earth and questioning things, delving into people's minds, maybe getting attached to a person or two.

Set in the future? But not like sci-fi or star wars or that movie where there's an alien girl that comes to this guy's apartment muttering something about her destiny. (That was a great movie, loved it but it's not what I'm going for at the moment).

I just thought it would be cool exploring different ideals and minds. it would also throw people off as to wondering whether the potential ghost (narrator) is actually the figment  of someone's reality or whether it actually exists

Any ideas concerning this would be much appreciated

PS

Whether I will actually summon enough willpower to proceed with this is as uncertain as ever.
