I put groceries on the table and sneaked into Amber's room. She was sleeping so I decided to take a rest, too. In a several hours I am going to stand in front of all these people judging about my future. Dealing with it is hard. I just hope their decision will be good for Darcy, the only important person in my life. The sad part is that Amber doesn't care. When my older sister Judith died, it was because she couldn't stand Amber after my father's death and she cut her veins. I've barely got over it and now my younger sister is preety close to that level of depression. Iam the only strong person in my family, actually... Anyways, sleep is better than worrying. After two delightful hours of relaxation, I got ready for court. Darcy didn't know where I was going but she saw me right at the moment I was leaving the house.

"Are you running away?"

"No, silly!"-I closed the door and hugged her.

"Than... What is it?"

"Do you remember that lie Amber told you? She wasn't drink while saying it... It's the truth! But it's not sure, I'm kinda getting honored for stealing, they caught me..."

I saw the guilt beneath her eyes.-"I can testify because I had to steal, too."

"Sweety... It is complicated."

"It is the least you can do for me!"

"Ough! Okay. But if Amber asks, you've been sleeping the whole afternoon."
