Mae's POV
I'm running around outside with my cousins playing ball hockey, I hear my aunt calling me, telling me I had a phone call. I put my stick on the ground before rushing inside to answer the phone.
" Hello" I say
" Hello, is this Mae Lynch". The person says
" Yes, this is she, may I ask who is calling." I say
" Oh sorry, this is Jim Rutherford of the Pittsburgh Penguins." He says
" What may I do for you, Mr.Rutherford." I say
" Please call me Jim and I would like you to come and be a doctor for the Pittsburgh Penguins." He says
" Are you serious right now." I say
" Very." He says
" I would love to, Jim." I say
" Great we have a game in Littleton, Colorado tomorrow but we can fly you out so you can meet us there." He says
" That won't be needed as I live in Littleton, so I can meet you all at the rink." I say
" That sounds great and then you can fly back to Pittsburgh with us." He says
" sounds good, I must go and tell my family now but I will see you tomorrow Jim." I say
" Okay yes, goodbye." He says before hanging up.
I smile as I put down the phone, I get to play for my favourite hockey team. This day couldn't get any better, I start dancing around, freaking out when my cousins, aunt, and uncle come in.
" What's going on" Boston says
" I'm moving to Pittsburgh to be a doctor for a the Pittsburgh Penguins." I say
" Will we see you again". Bauer says
" Of course you will." I say
" That's what your siblings said but they are never here." Beauty says
" Well I'm not my siblings, you can visit me out in Pittsburgh whenever you want and I'll be here when they play games in Colorado and on Christmas and your birthdays, I promise you." I say
" Okay." Gil B says
" When do you leave". My Aunt asks
" Day after tomorrow since they play here tomorrow." I say
" Can we come to the game." Gordy says
" Well I'll defiantly see what I can do." I say
They all seem pleased with that so I decided to go to bed...
Sidney's POV
I heard about us hiring a new doctor, apparently it's a girl, her name is Mae Lynch and she lives in Littleton, Colorado where we have are next game and that's when we get to meet her. I don't know what to think, I mean she could be snobby and rude or she could be sweet and kind. She could love hockey or hate it or hate sports in general, I guess I won't know until we meet her tomorrow. Until then I sleep as we have a long flight ahead of us...
