chapter 3

the guy was hot. too hot for my liking. he had caramel colored skin with stunning blue eyes. his hair was not long and stood up by an inch. he had a small stubble and you could see his muscles through his shirt.

"sorry." he says.

sorry? that's all he can say? the guy freaking pummeled me!

"whatever..." I say under my breath.

"What did you say?" he says squinting at me.

before I can respond, ladasha said, "she said whatever. don't get your panties in a damn twist." and as soon as she finished my eyes became saucers. what the hell? I thought.

"Do I look like I have panties to you stupid?" he says in a husky voice. damn.

" What? say it again?" she says bewildered.

"DO. I. LOOK. LIKE. I. HAVE. PANTIES. TO. YOU? S.T.U.P.I.D?" shoot.

"aw hell nah. awww hell to the nah. nae hold my rings. this fatty thinks that he finds dis.."

"fatty? your calling me fatty? seriously? you got the balls to call me fatty? you are ridiculous. Do you see me right now. the only fast I have I muscle fat. so don't even start."he says

damn. these two were going at it today. we're screwed.

"you are just so I irrelevant right now. don't even. "she says sitting down.

they spend another minute at it and my head soon starts to hurt with their bickering.

"would y'all stop? damn y'all can't just leave it? I said whatever. my b my b." I yelled then when I realized everyone was watching me I went deeper into the seat. "sorry" I squeaked.

for the rest of the ride we stayed silent. I put in my headphones and soon forgot about the world. music was the only thing they kept from back then. my favorite music was what they used to call today's hits, and RNB and hip hop. singing and dancing was all I ever did when I wasn't training for the comp.

" hey. it's time for lunch." I heard

I felt groggy and tired. I woke up and the woman put a steaming bowl of oatmeal into my lap.

"that's for not listening to me you ugly birch." the woman sneered. then she snickered and went on.
