"May I have all of yours attention please?" Hermione had been visiting with Dean when she heard the director's Miranda's voice speaking. "It has been quite a busy first week. And.. As you know from watching the show before. It will also be the elimination show in two days. So.. We all talked and decided it was best for you all to have a free fun filled day.. Before we begin filming again tomorrow for the elimination." Miranda exited out of the lobby and Hermione turned her attention back to Dean.
She was fairly distracted already with the past day's event. First her date with Harry. And then the small chat the two of them had yesterday after her date with one of the other bachelors. Not to mention. She was worried and nervous for her date with Ron.
When Dean was finally finished speaking and had moved on to visit with one of the other guys, Hermione made her way over to visit. She still wasn't sure what her answer to Harry would be. But she still needed to talk to him. To know that things weren't going to be strange between them just because he had told her what he felt. "Can we talk?" She asked as she approached him. "Talk.. Yeah.. Yeah sure.." Harry said seeming slightly awkward. Hermione let out a small sigh. She didn't want to lose Harry as a friend.
As Harry left out of the lobby with Hermione, Ron watched from the back of the room. Not liking the looks of it at all. "What do you suppose they're going to talk about?" Ginny asked making her way over to her brother and noticing his stare on the two. Ron glanced at Ginny a bit surprised. "Huh? Oh.. I guess I wouldn't know. I haven't heard much from Hermione these days. Are you doing okay with all of this?" Ginny sighed. "Ron.. I admit I've had my misjudgment too. But you can't jump to conclusions. Hermione doesn't like him like that." "But he's liked her like that Ginny! He always has! He's just too stubborn to admit it." Miranda had been watching the commotion from a distance and gave a small smirk. I think I might have just the idea.
"I am sorry about yesterday. I guess you caught me off guard." Hermione said once they were along the walking path and out of earshot view. Harry glanced over at her staying quiet a moment. "I was out of line. And I shouldn't of said anything." Hermione shook her head. "But I am glad you did." Harry looked at her surprised. "You are?" Hermione smiled. "Awhile back. When we were still in our school years.... There was a few moments when I thought we would end up being more than just friends. But a few things happened. And unfortunately it seems we missed our chances." Harry looked more surprised at Hermione's words. He hadn't expected those words to come from Hermione. "I think I did love you at one point. But.. I didn't want to say anything for the same reason you didn't. If you didn't like me the same way.. I didn't want to lose you as a friend. You are my best friend next to Ginny Harry. And I don't want to lose you." Harry stopped walking to stand in front of Hermione and gently placed his hands on her shoulders. "You aren't going to lose me Hermione. I can understand your choice. I.. It's just something I needed to say. I've considered it a few times myself. But when Ron told me, he had feelings for you. I realized I was too late.."
Hermione glanced at Harry and let out a small sigh. "And now it looks like Ron doesn't want me." Harry wrapped his arms around Hermione pulling her close for a hug. "Well Ron is an idiot. And I would say that it is his loss."
"You really think I'm that big an idiot?" Harry glanced over at Ron who managed to sneak out from around the corner after Hermione went back up to her room. Since they had a free day to do as they wanted, she was going to relax and catch up on reading.
Harry sighed hearing Ron's question. "I thought we have gone over this already." Ron glared at him. "We aren't even close to finish yet." "Ron. I am not going to act on anything when it comes to Hermione. Besides. We are just staying as friends." Ron's face went slightly red. "So you did admit? That you love her." "What do you care Ron? You chose as I said that you didn't love her anymore. That she wasn't good enough for you.. Yes.. I did tell her I love her..." Harry stopped speaking when he suddenly felt Ron's fist connect with his nose, and felt himself stumble back from the impact. Harry, forgetting for a moment where they were, grabbed both of Ron's shoulders with his hands and quickly pivoted spinning them around to pin Ron against the wall. Ron wasn't listening to him and he needed him to hear him out. "Boys boys! Save it for the camera!" Miranda's voice called out from up the stairs. Harry forcefully shoved Ron away so his back would slam against the wall. Giving Miranda a cold glare. "We aren't here for your entertainment." Harry hissed. "Come with me boys. I have an idea..." Miranda grinned. Harry and Ron looked hesitant a moment before following Miranda so they could chat.
After reading a couple hours, Hermione decided to go out and do a little more exploring of the area of the town. She smiled a little as she walked along the Main Street. She was starting to loosen up a bit. Not feel so tense since she was actually away and out of the building completely. As Hermione rounded the corner to check out one of the stores, she saw some movement of the corner of her eyes. She stalled momentarily. Though the person wasn't facing her, she could point him out very clearly anywhere. As she could recognize the bleach blonde hair. "Draco?" She muttered to herself. She made a quick turn of directions to follow where Draco was heading. To get a better glimpse to make sure she wasn't seeing things. As the figure walked into the one shop and turned his head towards her direction, Hermione ducked just in time to miss him seeing her. Her heart pounded fast when she saw for sure that it was him. What was he doing here? Of all places?
