Once Hermione and Ginny had finished packing to make their way to where the Bachelorette was being located, Hermione grew more and more nervous. She got out of the car and grabbed her luggage. Following Ginny into the building. "Is it too late to back out now?" Hermione muttered. Ginny grabbed her friend's arm worried she was going to try and turn around to head back to London. "Yes. We paid for everything already..." Hermione continued to grumble a little as she followed Ginny inside the hotel and upstairs to their room.
"Come on. It's not going to be that bad." Ginny reminded her again. "Then why didn't you try out?" Hermione glared at her. "Me? Try out?" She laughed. "Please. This show is for desperate women trying to get attention." Hermione glared at Ginny even more at her friend's words. "Well thanks to you, people are going to think I'm one of those desperate women.."
"Relax will you? We came here early so we have two days to enjoy this place and explore on our own." Ginny said grabbing the tour guide map so she could check some of the places they would be able to look into. Hermione sighed. "I suppose you're right. This place does look pretty amazing. I can't believe I am actually here. This is one place I have always wanted to come to with my parents. But when we took our summer vacation, they always wanted to keep the tradition of going camping in the woods." Ginny was sitting on the ledge of the bed flipping through the brochure before stopping at one of the pages and pointing. "This looks like it would be amazing to visit!" Hermione glanced over at the photo that Ginny was looking at and smiled. "I think this would be a great idea!"
After Ginny and Hermione had gotten dressed. Both of them wearing sundresses, Hermione's being pink and Ginny's being black, the two girls made an exit out of their hotel room and made their way to the tourist site. Stepping off the bus and glancing around at the small shops. Hermione glances over at Ginny. "Which direction do we walk down first?" She asks. Ginny smiled and pointed to their right. "Lets go down that way first." She grabs Hermione's arm and tugs her along to follow before Hermione could say anything else.
Ginny giggles a little entering one of the shops and glanced around. "Ohhh! I'm in heaven!" She said as she walked over to the candy and grabbing some pieces of the chocolate candies." Hermione shook her head as she followed Ginny. "Too bad they didn't have chocolate frogs here." Ginny whispered so nobody could hear them. "Those have always been my favorites. And I haven't had any since.." She let the rest of the sentence trail off so their conversation wouldn't be overheard. Plus both girls knew what Ginny would mean either way. Hermione nodded. "Being both my parents were dentists, I have never been one for sweets. But chocolate frogs were my downfall." Hermione admitted. Ginny glanced over at Hermione as she picked a few more sweets to buy. "Do you ever think you'll go back to find your parents again?" Ginny asked cautiously. Knowing it was a touchy subject. Hermione sighed. "I don't know. I have considered it a lot of times now that I know we are safe. That they are. But it's been so long. And I am sure they have gotten used to the new life they were given. I don't want to ruin that." Hermione stared off staying quiet a moment. Ginny watched her friend's actions closely. She hadn't meant to ruin the good mood. "Come on. I think I know a good place we can go to. I think you might like. I saw it in the brochure."
Hermione let Ginny lead her out of the shop after they paid for the sweets. Now, all Hermione wanted to do was get back to the hotel. But she knew Ginny wasn't going to allow her to do so. Hermione continued to follow Ginny stepping onto the bus and sitting down in the seat next to her friend. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't of asked." Ginny said after Hermione had been quiet a while. Hermione shook her head. "It's okay. I didn't mean to ruin the good moments. Where are we going?" She asked Ginny. Ginny shook her head. "I shouldn't of prodded." She grinned a little at her friend. "It's a surprise." Hermione raises her eye remembering the last surprise Ginny suggested, wound Hermione up on the set of the Bachelorette.
When the bus came to a stop down the one street, Ginny got up and Hermione followed. She smiled spotting the building they were making their way towards. A library. "Now we are talking my language!" Hermione said excitedly. Ginny smiled seeing her friend's excitement. "I thought you'd like it." She said as she opened the door and made her way inside. Hermione following after her. She smiles even wider as she walks inside. The library was huge. Hermione wasn't even going to know where to begin.
"Oh my gosh! I have been looking for this book for forever!" She grinned pulling the book off the shelf when the title had caught her attention. Ginny shook her head. "You nerd." She joked. Hermione rolled her eyes. After Hermione had finished glancing around at some of the other books, she made her way to the check out and the two girls exited out of the building a few moments later.
"Where should we go next?" Hermione asked looking at Ginny. Ginny glanced at the time. "Perhaps we should get something to eat. I am quite hungry." Hermione glanced at the time as well and nodded noticing it was twelve thirty. "We probably should get something to eat. I saw a small cafe a few stores down the opposite direction we can check out." She suggested. Ginny nodded in agreement. "Lets go." She turned directions and followed Hermione towards the cafe.
