'Hate. Such a strong word that meant a lot to me. I hate everyone. I don't hate them because they're breathing or because they're all around me. I hate them because I have no use for them. Everyone in my world is useless. I know that sounds harsh, but it's true. All they do is just get in my way and talk too much or too less. I just hate humans. They are vile creatures and kill their own kind. My brother, Mikey, dreams of a day where all he sees is blood and corpses. Really, it's the only thing he talks about. To every human this might see a bit corrupt and weird, but trust me; in a vampire's mind it's like a day dream of a walk on the beach at sunset. To me, it's just a stupid thought. If every human died we wouldn't have any food. I guess they're not as useless as I thought.'

I got cut off my thoughts to myself when I heard one of the loud double doors slab shut from down stairs. I rolled my eyes know who it was, my cocky little brother.

"Gee!", I heard him yell halfway up the stairs," Gee! Where are you at!"

I heard Mikey's foot steps pass my door, stop, and walk back in front of it. He knocked on my door before he swung it open. There I saw my awkwardly tall younger brother with a toothy smile full of his last meal. 'Does he ever rinse out his mouth after a drink' I thought to myself as I stared at my brother waiting on him to say something as I propped myself up on my elbows in my bed.

"Guess what!", Miley basically shouted at me in an excited manner.

"I'm not guessing", I say with my normal monotone voice.

"Well, we're moving!", he said louder than before his smile somehow getting bigger.

"And I care why?", I say raising an eyebrow. It's not like we already moved seventy times in the past thirty years.

"Well, I just wanted you to know because I you need to pack", Mikey said dropping his smile," you don't have to be such a dick about it."

With that he turned around and slammed my door to. I let myself fall back onto my back as I stared once more at the ceiling. 'I wonder where we're moving to next.' I thought to myself as I began to close my eyes ready for some sleep.

I woke up to my dreaded alarm going off. I slowly sat up and tried to rub the sleep from my eyes. You would think being a vampire would mean you didn't need sleep, oh how I wish that was true. I plopped my feet on the ground and lazily started to walk to my bathroom on the other side of the hall. Once I finally arrived and started to brush my teeth, my brother barged open the door.

"Morning Gerard! I hope you're almost done packing we're moving tomorrow", he said cheerfully.

I looked at him weirdly questioning his mental state on how he's "alive" in the morning. But shook it off and rinsed out my mouth turning to him.

"Do you even know where too?", I asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"New Jersey", he said making me scoot over so he could brush his teeth.

"New Jersey?", I questioned give him a look of confusion as to why.

"Mmhm", he mumbled shaking his head slowly with the toothbrush in his mouth.

I threw my hands up in defeat as I walked out the bathroom. 'Why on EARTH are we moving almost all the way across the country to New Jersey for?' I questioned myself as I threw on some black skinny jeans, plain black T, black high top converse, and a black jacket. I started to pack up all my stuff in my room, then moved on to packing up all my art stuff in the extra room in the house. 'This is going to be a long trip' I thought to myself as a carried a few boxes out to the bottom floor.

'Here we are. Belleville, New Jersey. I could never figure out why my parents want to move here so bad. It's just some random old small rundown town. Nothing here looked that new, not even the blue welcoming sign before you get into the main part of the town. Hell, even it had dead cherry blossoms surrounding it. The high school we drove by on the way to the new house was old and had some black mold on its sides. It wasn't that decorated, just a plain, almost windowless, brick building that held young students captive for most of their teen days.' I stopped daydreaming once we pulled up to a half wood half stone two story house. The wood was painted white, and it had a small garage attached to the house on the side with a small drive way. We drove up to the garage, opened the big door, and drove inside it. Once inside we started to claim our rooms and unpack.
