David's POV

"Babe!" I called out to lui as i sat on the floor with a box.

"What!?" He replied walking into the living room with a bad of skittles.

He stopped as he looked at the box and smiled. He then looked up at me and laughed.

"What's that?" He asked, walking a bit closer.

"It's a present, are you just gonna stan there or ye' gonna open it," I asked teasing him.

He rolled his eyes, smiling while chewing the rest of the skittles in his mouth. He set the empty candy bag down on the coffee table and sat on the opposite side of the box then me. He took no time to open it but as soon as he pulled of the lid, he froze.

"Baby?" He looked up at me with sparkles in his eyes.

"Well, don't just leave em' in there," i Giggled as he smiled.

He gasped and was shaking as he pulled out a french bull dog puppy. He held it tight as it licked its face and scratched his face with its tiny paws. To my surprise, he totally broke down. He started crying and holding it like a baby.

"I take it ye' like it?" i asked smirking at how adorable him and the puppy were.

"Yes," He nodded still crying and laughing. "I'm so happy right now..." He wiped tear with one eye and then set down the dog for a second.

He got up and kissed me, but it wasn't but two seconds until he looked down at the pup scratching at his ankle. He just picked up and smiled at me, and looked happier than ever.
