"Language, Seulin," her professor warned just before she was able to curse out the pink-haired boy who had trashed her Physics text book - well not really trashed it, Daniel highlighted every single word in bright yellow, and that pretty much is the same thing in Seulin's mind.
"Sorry sir," she mumbled with a sad sigh as she kept her text book back to her bag, and decided to focus on the lesson without the aid of her precious learning material. She could see Daniel cheekily smile at her from beside her, but she chose to ignore his annoying presence and take down notes.
A minute led to another, and soon, classes were now dismissed and Seulin was ever so grateful for that. She hurriedly stuffed her things right into her bag and exited the classroom in a rush. Usually, she would take her sweet time after class, but this week has been hell for her - so her normal routine went to the trash.
It all started with a pink-haired idiot named Kang Daniel.
He had just moved next door, since he apparently moved from Busan to Seoul for college - college, ah what a horrible idea. Seulin was already in her second year of college yet everything seemed to new to her. She wasn't used to the whole 'switching classroom' thing, since back in high school, she only had one classroom - and the teachers were the ones who had to move.
But back at Daniel, who was he? He was apparently a family friend that Seulin had no memories of. Apparently, back when they were children, he used to bully her a lot, although Seulin had no clue what he was talking about. Apparently, apparently, apparently; she could say those words everyday, but she'd still have no clue on who he was.
He just appeared to his life and started ruining it - and it only has been a week! Seulin already felt like murdering him to pieces.
"Where are you running off to?"
'Crap,' Seulin thought miserably as she stopped in her tracks. She would've wanted to run away, but the strong grip on her shoulders hindered her of any action. Daniel was right behind her.
"Home? Where else would I be?" Seulin spat out her reply, trying to get his fingers off her. Daniel only smiled cheekily, something he'd always done whenever she tried to push him away. It was always like this: Daniel would tease and chase her around while Seulin always pushed him away.
"How about on a date with me?" Daniel suggested while wriggling his eyebrows, which frankly made him look more stupid then he already was - in Seulin's eyes.
"Not funny," she replied shortly before successfully removing his hand off her shoulder and started running for her dear life.
It was bad enough that people started shipping them two, but it went to a whole new level of bad when Daniel played along with their teasing. Now, the most famous campus couple in Seoul National University was Daniel and Seulin - and they weren't even a real couple!
"When will you ever realize that you'll never run away from me?" Daniel teased with a bright smile and chased after the girl, gaining dreamy stares and excited squeals from the people around them.
Seulin cursed under breath as she finally saw the exit of the building, and continued running towards it. But before she was able to even step foot nearer, Daniel had already reached her and grabbed her by the two shoulders.
He pushed her harshly (even though he wanted to do it gently) to the wall and trapped the girl by slamming his two hands beside her head. Seulin cursed as she heard the squeals of her schoolmates grow louder as Daniel lowered his head with the same smile she desperately wanted to wipe off.
"Isn't this a cliche scene? Kiss me, darling."
"In your dreams," she retorted before aiming to kick his shin, but ended up kicking his man parts. Seulin gasped at her actions, but quickly made the move to push him away and run.
The people who had been watching their two exchange were left in shock, as they all watched Daniel crumble to the ground in pain. But nevertheless, he still had that bright smile on, watching the girl of his dreams run away from.
"Doesn't she realize that we live right next to each other?"
