and let me sit upon your laptracing pictures on your back
what could my life possibly lack?state of the art, freezing plunge pool
is how she would have described high schoolher simple world was suddenly enlarged
the perpetrators got away unchargedpeer pressure and distractions
learning algebraic fractionswhen life got tough
the waters became roughupon stormy seas
she began to wheezelacking motivation
no state of elationher unrealistic expectations
matched with all the accusationslonely was she
she longed to be freefrom the demons that entrapped her mind
they darkened her heart and covered her eyes, making her blindher mind, body and soul under attack,
she felt as if she was on a straight trackthat was a dead end.
