Two's Company, Three's A Crowd.

The Wire Grill

Danielle reeking of cigarette smoke and bourbon walked into her apartment at six o'clock in the morning, her head was pounding and her stomach was churning so much she felt like she was ready to bring up last weeks breakfast.

"Well look what the cat dragged in," Alana sitting on the couch can't help but say,

"Shut up," Danielle said not in the mood for talking,

"Where have you been all night D? I tried calling your cell, I was worried,"

"Nowhere," Danielle mumbled,

Alana got up off the couch and moved in front of Danielle blocking her path towards the bedrooms and bathroom, 

"Holy fuck D did that Devon guy do this to you?" She asked noticing the finger mark bruising to both of Danielle's arms.

"What? No." Danielle said folding her arms,

"Well who then? That wasn't there before I went out last night,"

Danielle refused to answer her baby sister and tried to push past her, but again Alana stopped her, 

"Oh my God look at your wrist, what the fuck happened D? Who did this to you?" Alana cried upset that her sister had been hurt, she quietly asked, "Is this why you got drunk last night?"

Danielle seeing how upset her sister was pulled her into a hug,

"I'm OK Lanny, you don't need to worry about me," she said reassuring Alana, "But right now I need a hot shower and some strong coffee." She kissed Alana's forehead and then headed into the bathroom.

Alana stared at the bathroom door a worried look visible on her face, why would anyone try and hurt my sister she thinks to herself, why won't you talk to me D? She sighed and headed to the kitchen to make a fresh pot of coffee for her sister.

Mr. Hutton had organised a meeting with their Bank Manager that morning, Este and Dash were both nervous and excited about the meeting with their bank. Everything however went smoothly and their father transferred half of their trust funds into the now approved loan account and they signed the papers for the bank loan.

After the meeting they had their father drive them over to Paddy's bar so he could meet Paddy, he also wanted to look at the establishment they wanted to buy. Their father organised for a builder he knew to meet them at the bar so he could assess the bar. Este pushed the door open and walked into the bar.

"Top of the morning to ya lassie," Paddy said to Este, "And who might this be?" 

"Good morning Paddy this is my father Daniel and you remember Dash," Este said,

"Pleasure to meet you Daniel," Paddy says shaking hands with Este's father,

"We're interested in making you an offer Paddy but our father wanted to come look at your bar first," Este explained

"l've asked one of my builders to come and inspect the place that's if you don't have any objections?" Mr Hutton asked,

"I don't see any harm in that, feel free to look around." Paddy replied.

Once the builder turned up he started to look through the bar with Mr. Hutton, Este and Dash sat down on the stools at the bar,

"So ya interested in the old place now then Lassie? And what about you Laddie?" Paddy asked them as he poured them each a cola, "It's just a wee bit early to be serving alcohol,"

"Thanks Paddy, yes we both are interested and will be running the bar together," Este explained,

"Ah ya sounding mighty confident that I'm going to sell to ya" Paddy teased,
