The Lake

Ellie's POV

I receive a text at 10:46 am

Your Boy💕: Hey, wanna meet at the lake today.

Me: Sure!

Your Boy💕: okay I will come pick you up in about thirty minutes. My brother will drive us there.

Me: Okay I can't wait

I need to hurry and get ready, I wasn't expecting this. I jump out of bed and grab a shower then throw on my favorite bathing suit. It's a blue and gold chevron two-piece. Then, I put on my blue jean shorts from American Eagle and a crop top. Next I apply some waterproof colossal volume mascara. Finally, I let my hair down to air dry.

I hear the doorbell ring and I tell my parents I'm going out with a friend.

I open the door and see Hayes. How does he manage to always look so good.

Hayes' POV

I ring the doorbell and almost instantly the door comes flying open. It's Ellie she looks great even though we are only going to the lake.

"Hey there" I say

"Hey Hayes" she says.

I lead her to the car and we sit in the back. Nash is driving us. Gosh I hope she doesn't notice who he is. I sit close to her in the middle seat while she is on the right side.

We arrive at the lake and get on the boat. Nash is driving the boat because he is the only one with a drivers license. Today is so perfect, I hope to make a move on Ellie today.

Ellie's POV

We are cruising on the water and all I can think about is Hayes. Nash stops the boat and we are just floating now. Hayes takes his shirt off. Wow he has a six pack. He comes over to me and says

"Wanna take a swim?"

I agree and I take off my jeans and shirt leaving me in my bathing suit. Right as I was about to jump in the water, I am picked up and grown in the water.

Once I return to the surface I see Hayes laughing his butt off. I am so mad right now but I seriously can't stay mad at him.

While Hayes was still cracking up from the incident, I snuck up and grabbed his foot and pulled him into the lake.

"What was that for!" he yelled and laughed.

"Being a jerk" I replied and laughed with him.

After swimming for a while, we both got back back on the boat and Nash told us it was time to head back to the dock. Hayes went to go get some towels but he came back with only one.

"Looks like we are going to have to share" he said winking.

He plopped down next to me and wrapped his arms around me with the towel in his hand.

Hayes' POV

I wrapped the towel around us and snuggled close to her. This was my chance.

"Hey Ellie, you know I was wondering if.......
