"It's an acceptance letter from the people who created Magcon!" I screamed smiling while jumping up and down.

"What in the world is a Magcon?" She asked in complete shock and confusion.

"I'll tell you what it is later, can I join? Please please pleeease?" I begged.

"Well, you'll have to tell me what it is if you want to join it so bad." She said looking at me.

"Just read the letter that they sent and I'll go start packing all of my clothes and stuff." I said running back up to my room.

I had a small choice of clothes to wear, so I could basically pack them all. I fit all my shirts and shorts into one suitcase. I'll buy pants later cause we still have like the whole summer left. It took another suitcase to fit shoes, beanies, pajamas, and my makeup. I drug my bags downstairs and set them on the living room couch.

"So do I get to go?" I asked seeing my mom who was still carefully reading the letter. "Mom?"

"I'm not so sure about all of this Jenna." She said setting the letter down and looking up at me with sad eyes.

"Mom, you and dad both know that I'm responsible for myself." I sighed.

"I know, but Jenna, you're only sixteen years old." She said.

"So are half the people who are already in Magcon." I mumbled.

"I'll go and talk to your dad about it for a little big." She said walking past me and then upstairs.

"What the hell is going on? Why are you screaming so loud." My older brother asked walking into the living room.

"I might be allowed to join Magcon!" I smiled watching his expression.

"Where all the vine "famous" pricks go?" He asked adding air quotes around the word famous with his fingers.

"They're not pricks!" I said defending them.

"You'll just go on Magcon and date one of them and you'll break up and you'll end up back home." He shrugged.

"Well, you don't know me very well. I'd never leave Magcon." I said resting my head on my hand.

"Jenna!" My dad called from his room.

"Wish me luck!" I sang as I made my way upstairs.

"Yeeees?" I asked walking into their room.

"How bad do you want to join this Magcon thing?" He asked staring at me.

"So bad! Like, I would sell my own soul or something like that just to join it." I said.

"Would you really do something like that?" He asked.

"Yeah. Dad, you know that I don't ask for much, this is something I want more than anything." I said looking at him and then my mom.

"Okay, I guess you can go and join whatever it's called." He shrugged.

"Magcon, and thank you guys so much! When do we leave?" I asked looking at my mom.

"Well, the letter said that if you accept, you need to meet up with them in Chicago cause that's their next tour date." My mom said grabbing her car keys.

"Yes! I'm already packed! I'm gonna call Jasmine and tell her!" I smiled walking to my room, dialing my best friends number.

"Hello?" She answered.

"I got accepted to Magcon!" I screamed.

"Nu uh." She said, "Don't mess around with me Jenna."

"I'm not, I'm leaving for Chicago in a little bit!" I smiled.

"Do me a favor?" She asked.

"Of course, anything." I said waiting for her reply.

"Don't forget about me." She saod quietly.

"Jas! I'd never forget about you! You're like my only friend! I'll text you all the time and send you pictures of Carter." I smirked.

"Oh my god yes please! Do that!" She screamed.

"Okay, well I got to go! I call you when I land in Chicago. Love

you!" I said before hanging up.

"Mom, I'm ready to go!" I said grabbing my bags from downstairs.

"Hold on, I'm on the phone with someone from Mapcon." She said.

"It's Magcon." I said adding strong emphasis on the 'g.'

My older brother helped me

put my bags into the car and hugged me, "Don't let fame go to that pretty little head of yours."

"Trust me, that'll never happen." I smiled hugging him tightly.

My little brother and I strongly despise each other so neither of us said by to one another. My mom finished her phone call and we drove to the airport.

"Are you flying with me and then flying back?" I asked.

"No, you're on your own for this one." She said.

Those words made my stomach hurt. I prayed that everything would be okay. Going through security flew by and I was finally boarding the plane. I sighed and sat in the seat beside the window. My phone dinged and it was my mom.

Mommy: When you arrive at the airport, someone will be holding a sign with your name and they'll take you to the hotel

Jenna: Alrighty, ily

I turned off my phone when the pilot commanded so. I stayed awake for the whole ride and arrived at the Chicago airport. I recollected my bags and looked around for my name on a sign. I finally found it and looked at who was holding it.

Jack Gilinsky.
