"It's about time you came" my mom said smiling. "You look beautiful"
"Thank You" I blushed and waited for her to show me the set up. I was super excited.
"Deon you look nice" she said fixing his bow tie. We followed her to the doors and she opened them revealing the most Beautiful decor I've ever seen for a baby shower. I started crying It was so beautiful. Me and Deon walked in and everyone was clapping. Deon and I had both family and friends attend. And it was a great turn out. Everyone who brought a gift received a wrist band. When it comes time to eat no wristband no eat.
"Hi baby" my nana said kissing my cheek
"Hey nana" I sat next to her.
"Congratulations. I predicted it" she laughed. I chatted for a little With Her before walking around greeting everyone else.
"Here boo" Kay says kissing my cheek
"Thank You. You can put it over there" I kissed her cheek in return.
"Let me get a picture of you two" my aunt said grabbing her camera. Deon stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach softly. She Snapped a few pictures and We posed a few different ways.
"You look so beautiful" I heard someone say from behind me. I turned around and my dad was standing there with bags in his hands smiling. I walked over to him and hugged him while letting tears fall. I haven't seen him in years and he looked the same.
"I'm back princess and I'm ready to fix things." He said kissing my forehead. I wiped my tears and nodded. We started playing games then went to serve food. I started opening gifts when ivy came over and whispered in my ear.
"Fuck you doing here?" Deon asked.
"Just thought it would be nice to show some love to my sons sister" Giana said taking bags out her car. It was some really nice stuff honestly. A lot of baby outfits and shoes. Headbands and more accessories. Wait a second....
"You got her pregnant?" I yelled in deons face.
"No I didn't. You know she's a hoe" he said shaking his head.
"Why lie Kadeon? We have a almost one year old son. I'm tired of biting my tongue. You took my virginity then wanna leave me with Keon as if you didn't have a role in it too. You plastered me as some washed up bitch and I gotta deal with it" she said almost in tears. I wasn't only hurt for myself but for her too. How could he hide this from me and then make me hate her. I left them two standing there and walked back in with a smile on my face. I finished opening gifts and Deon sat in the chair next to me. I ignored him the whole time and he got mad then got up and went to talk to Brian and the rest of the boys.
"You Okay?" Kay asked me sitting in the seat Deon was sitting in.
"Yeah" I nodded.
"Aye nia thanks for inviting me" Jordan said bending down giving me a hug.
"You're not fine" ivy said Eating the cake.
"I am guys"
"What's going on?" Lia said squatting in front of me. I shook my head again. They kept asking and I told them finally. I tried to throw away the thought and enjoyed myself. It was almost over and I gave my thank you speech
"Thank You everyone for coming. I have more that enough stuff for Leilani. The poster is over there if you didn't sign. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks to the god parents Giovanni and Sukaya, my mom and all my moms, my family, deons family and friends. My friends our extended family. You get the point." I said a few more words and but the microphone down. I danced with my little cousins and bonded with my father. I'm soo glad today is over.
