I was helping Nani finish packing her room. The last things that needed to be moved were the dressers and stuff like that. She was waiting until her online classes ended to move so she can start fresh. We moved a few boxes into the house already. Only the light stuff. I'm actually the only person who knows The location of her new house.

"Put those with the rest of lani's clothes." She said wiping sweat off her forehead.

"Bitch sit down" I told her

"I'm Okay" she said "pass me my phone"

I grabbed her phone and she answered it but her smile quickly faded and she began to move as fast as she could with her now 6 month stomach.

"Nani what's going on?" I said grabbing my phone and wallet

"My nana" she said walking out the door. I followed and hopped on the passenger seat. She sped all the way to the hospital. She pulled into a parking spot, well Four of them, and wobbled her ass into the hospital.

"What's going on?" She said walking over to her mom.

"Nani baby. The tumor on her brain has grown. They say she won't be around much longer" mama Rochelle sniffled. Nani took a seat next to her and they held Eachother. I rubbed their backs crying myself. Nani's aunt ida and uncle George walked in and sat down. Mama Rochelle updated them on her condition. George gathered us and prayed for her to heal.

"Family of Edna Rose?" A Tall male doctor said reading his clipboard. We all stood up.

"How is she?" Ida asked

"Well the tumor has began to mess with her memory and her speech. As well as some of her organs are shutting down. We put her into a medically induced coma" he said with a slight frown. "You all are welcome to visit. Room C33"

We walked in and there were many wires hooked up to her. The heart monitor beeped slowly and that's all that filled the room.

"I'm gonna go help my mom. Deons on his way up" I told Nani. She nodded. I hugged the rest of her family and left.

"You have to eat baby girl"my mom said rubbing Nani forehead. I picked her up from the hospital. She doesn't need to stress especially if it'll hurt Lani. Nani just shook her head no.

"You want some chik fa la?" I asked. She nodded.

"You go get that. I'm gonna stay here with her" my mom said. I kissed both their cheek and left out. I was driving when a car side swiped me. I pulled over and so did they. It wS them lame ass niggas we asked to get off our block a minute ago.

"Yo fuck was that?" I Asked checking out the damage.

"Fuck nigga shut up. You messed with family now nigga. You gonna die" one of them pulled out a gun. I reached for mine. One thing I'll always remember is that it'll never be me dying to a pussy nigga.

"Fuck You talking about?" I asked.

"Giana my niece. You fucked up when she called me crying" he said clenching his teeth. This bitch here yo. I swear to god I'm gonna kill this girl.

"Nigga ion know you or your name enough chit chat." I Said blasting him and his mans. I hopped in and sped off. I grabbed a pizza instead and sped back to my house.

"Your mom will be back" Nani croaked. "You okay?" She asked

"Yeah I'm Fine"

"How come You Didn't tell me about Keon?" She asked

"Not right now Nani" I said Going into the bathroom. I heard her sigh and the tv turn on. I came back out and she was asleep. I shook her lightly and she hummed.

"I'll tell you what you want" I said sliding in next to her. She laid her head on me and got comfortable.

"Explain why keon was a secret"

"Well....."

Flashback

I just arrived at Giana's house. Her parents had left and she was home alone. That was the only time she was able to spend with me. I walked in and she was in the kitchen in a lime green thong and bra set. I licked my lips and we got crazy. Yes we had sex and that was her first time but definitely not mine.

"Good thing for your strong ass pull out game" she chuckled out of breath. I laughed a long with her. She stopped texting me for almost a year so that's when I met Kiania. One day I was on the block and I got a phone call from an unknown number. I answered it and it was Giana explaining Keon to me. She cried and cried telling me her parents were gonna kick her out but I didn't care I believed the baby wasn't mine. I saw Keon once and he resembled me a lot. My eyes my hair and definitely my nose. I moved away because it was a lot and I was still dealing with Kiania at the time. Giana tried to get me to be in his life but I wouldn't.  I was too stubborn and naive.
