PoN: Too Good For Trouble (Madison's POV)

Well isn't this just great. Got in trouble once again, but this time by Hoshido. Xander is going to kill me for real this time. I was lock up in a dungeon, supposedly underground in the Hoshidan palace. It's not as bad at the tombs back in Nohr where it's all dark, rat infested and dirty. The light of the sun never touches it. Here, it's pretty decent. I don't mind it at all but I have to get out and find my sister before Father and Xander comes bursting through the enemy's doors. Times like this makes me wonder why I'm always getting into trouble, assuming it's something I inherited from my lousy father. 'Hmm, I wonder how well these metal bars can handle fire...' A mischievous smile stretched across my muzzle. I stood up from the dull bedrock cage ground and began concentrating on my power. Blue flames slowly began to spark off my fur, increasing it's speed until it caused a small explosion strong enough to blow up a dozen crates. Just when I thought my plan worked, I saw the bars remain standing with small ancient engravings glowing on them. By the way, did I mentioned I'm inside a cage while inside a random dungeon room?

"Damn you Hoshidan cunts!" I growled at the top of my lungs. My little stunt attracted the Hoshidan guards accompanied by two young girls.

"Nice try, but your flames won't work if you're trapped behind those enchanted bars." The red haired princess laughed, causing me to grimace and growl to myself.

"Should I really be taking you seriously? What are you, 12?" I coughed.

"I am not! I'm a woman!" I scoffed at her hard attitude.

"Oh really? Then explain why your chest is so flat." I rebutted. Her face lit up red and grew frustrated. Boy how I love messing with people.

"Just you wait until Big Brother deals with you and your sister!"

"Hinoka, please calm down. You can't let the enemy get to you." The girls talked back and forth while I just watched and laugh at them. Finally they left me alone in my dull cage. I paced around, thinking of another way to break out. But sadly, I thought of nothing. I just laid back down and wait for someone to come in, praying it won't be the elder son of King Sumeragi.

Just my luck, Prince Ryoma came in his lousy red armor, looking like an armadillo-lobster hybrid. Involuntarily, I laughed at my inner comment of his attire as he glared coldly at me. "What's so funny, hound?"

"Hound?" I let out a plastic gasp and hold my giant paw to my furry chest. "I'll have you know I'm more than just a hound, Prince Ryoma." I transformed in front of him back to my humanoid form, my Beastrune in hand. There was a bit of shock in his grey eyes when he gazed at my feminine features. Oh, how Hinoka wishes she had big boobs like me and Camilla, getting Ryoma's attention.

"I never thought the Nohrian Princess Madison can shapeshift into a hound." He commented.

"Oh, I'm flattered. Anyway, what the hell do you want?"

"My sister came to me, speaking about you trying to break out." My human eyes squinted into a glare.

"I don't like being in cages, lobster head! So let me out before I claw your face off!!!" I burst into flames as I growled at the prince who remained still with that same serious expression on his face. The guards accompanying him ran away like little cowards, but it didn't amuse me. I thought scaring this pretty little prince to release me would do the trick but it didn't works. It'll never works with Ryoma. There's something about him that made him not fear me, and it's itching me to my very existence.

"Where's my sister?"

"Somewhere where you two can stay separated yet unharmed." And with that, he left me alone in the dungeon. I sigh a breath of relief and sunk to the bedrock floor.

"I should've flirted with him to get me out!"
