Princesses of Nohr

PoN: The Sisters' Capture (Yumiko's POV)

I am only but a princess- a warrior princess of Nohr. Our kingdom and the rival, Hoshido, are at war with each other due to our brother Corrin's decision to stay with the family he grew up with. My sister Madison, however, had decided to wander off today, so it is my duty to keep an eye on her, as she is a magnet for trouble. 

I had been tailing Madison for a while, her wide wolf footprints leading towards the mountains where Corrin's brother Takumi and his son Kiragi hunt for boar. After what seemed like an hour, I had finally found Madison, however not in the way I expected to find her.

The black demon wolf had been captured by Hoshidan ninjas just minutes before, her front and hind paws tied in rope and splotches of semi dried blood hardening on her fur. One of the ninjas appeared to be the one our brother had spared from the wrath of Father, the other unknown. The red and jade haired ninjas sensed my presence well before I have seen them, three shuriken swiping my brown and red locks away from my ear.

 "Come out, scum!" The aggressive red haired male aimed another shuriken at my hidden form, I decided to draw my sword and approach them, my wings spread wide to show my dominance.

"Let her go!" With my iron katana at the ready, I stood cautiously and defensively, the two men ready to battle it out. Not a word was said as the ninja Corrin spared threw a steel dagger at my arm at the speed of light, dodging it with just a scratch in my arm.

 "Yumiko! Run! Don't tell Xander! I'll be fine!" Before I could respond to my sister, my vision began to blur as I looked at my now throbbing arm. The dagger that struck me was poisoned with a sleeping tonic. The two ninjas casually stood as the green haired one readied some rope, my vision fading to blackness as I heard the crackling of fire and echoing growls.
