Chapter 4

The weekend flew bye really fast, Luke, Natalia, and I all had a little sleepover on Friday night. We watched tons of movies and finished four boxes of pizza ( well mostly Luke ) and a 12 pack of coke, and made a batch of cookies, brownies, and even a cake. It was safe to say we had a lot of fun. On Friday we went to see a movie at the at the movie theater. We spent most of our time throwing popcorn at each other and even almost got picked out of the theater. Then on Sunday, all our families went together to the beach, And we even ran into Zach and Elliot. surprisingly Zack was a lot more civil to me than usual, which I thought was odd but I let it go.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring, I groaned, rolled back over, and put the pillow on top of my head.

" Liz get up and get ready for school " my mom yelled.

I groaned again, but got up and got ready. I was felling lazy so I out on a pair of skinny sweatpants, a sweatshirt, some UGG boots, and put my hair in a bun. I quickly brushed my teeth, and ran downstairs to get some breakfast. When I got downstairs I saw Luke and Natalia both sitting at the kitchen island eating some scrambled eggs and bacon.

" Hey guys, what are you doing here " I asked them.

" Oh just enjoyed some delicious homemade breakfast prepared by your beautiful mom " Luke said smiling sweetly at my mom, who just laughed

and patted his cheek.

" Eww that's gross, stop trying to flirt with my mom she's not a cougar " I said scrunching up my face in disgust.

" Of course she's not a cougar, she couldn't be a day over twenty-four " Luke replied smiling sweetly again

" I'm sitting right here you know, her husband " my dad said to Luke

" Well one day day she'll realize the truth, and when that day comes we'll runaway together and get married " he replied

" You know that's considered pedophile, I mean you're not even eighteen yet " my brother said.

" I will be in two weeks, and then it's all legal " Luke said " Wait for me " he said to my mother.

" Okay come on, let's go before this gets any weirder " I said ushering Luke and Natalia out the door.

" See you later, I won't be here here when you get back because I'm going back to school " Nico said

" Awwww I'm going to miss " I said running back in to give him a quick hug.

" I'm going to miss you too " he said hugging me back.

After our sweet little nomen I rushed back into Luke's car, which was a black dodge charger with accents of red here and there.

We got to school and all went to our lockers to get the stuff we needed for class.

" Hey " someone with a British accent said. I thought it was Elliot so I just kept getting my stuff and said hey back. I turned around to see a nervous looking Zach smiling at me. I narrowed my eyes and was about to say something when he spoke.

" So....umm....how was your weekend " he asked nervously.

" Why do you wanna know " I sneered at him.

He sighed " Look can I please just talk to you? "

" If you're gonna try to apologize and say we should be best friends again, I suggest you don't, now if you'll excuse me I have to oh catch up with my real friends "

Then I turned and walked away to catch up with Luke and Natalia.

" Hey, why was captain douche over there talking to you " Natalia asked
