Change of heart ❤ (#writingchallenge)

Sanyukta!! Get up! It's 8. " I heard my mother. I got up in an instant. My mother was standing near the door , smiling at me. Slowly rubbing my eyes I took a glance at the clock. It was 7:15. I sighed. Mothers and their ways to wake us up. Its been years but still I fall for this trick.

"Get ready and come down for breakfast​. Yesterday also you didn't have as you were running late for your work." My mother said and left the room.

I got up and freshened up in half n hour and left the room.

"Good morning Dad." I wished my dad as soon as I spotted my father reading the newspaper on the dining table.

"Good morning, sanyu" he wished me back and put the newspaper back on the table with a big smile on his face.

"Why do you seem so happy dad?" I asked.

" When Aggarwal Industries is reaching new heights. Then why will I not be happy" he smiled.

"Good to hear that. It's great." I replied.

" Sanyukta I think it's time for you to leave that stupid job of yours and join Aggarwal industries."

" We had this discussion a lot of times till now, dad. And I always told you that I want to become independent. I don't want to be known as Mr. Aggarwal's daughter." I told him clearly annoyed of answering the same question repeatedly.

" Tell me one thing , don't your company know that you are Aggarwal's​ daughter ?"

" I don't know. Our company does not give importantance to the family backgrounds of the employees. They only believe in the efficiency of the employees. This is the main reason why I joined this company" I replied proudly. I was really proud of the company I was working in.

" Okay okay. Now have your breakfast." My mother said as she severed the breakfast.

After having my breakfast. It was 8:30.

" Bye mom." I said. My dad already left a few minutes​ ago. I took all the essential things I needed and left.

It takes 20 mins to reach my office. I went out of the house and took out my Activa. I smiled looking at it. It was always their when I needed it. Never ditched me. I really care for it because I bought it on my own. I started my Activa and drove out of the Aggarwal mansion.

Sanyukta is a bubbly and sweet girl. She wants to become independent .Although having all the comforts she wanted, sanyukta was not a spoilt brat. She also had some goals like any other girl and wanted to pursue them and lead a simple life.

But will her life be simple ?

So this is the first part of the story Change of heart.
