Jin-Jer followed Piccolo to Kami's lookout where the boys would be safe. "I-I can't believe he's really gone...." she fell to her knees, clenching her teeth together and squeezing her eyes shut. Her pride wouldn't allow her to cry anymore tears. She slammed her fist against the ground, making a crater. "I shouldn't have listened... I should have helped him! I could have done something to stop him!" she screamed to Piccolo who was holding in his own emotions after letting it sink in that Gohan, who was like a son to him, was dead too.

"None of that matters now." he told her, trying his best not to show how he was really feeling.

Jin-Jer shot up off the ground and looked around. She clenched her fists, "You can feel it too. Can't you?"

"That bastard isn't dead." Piccolo stared off in the distance with Jin-Jer from the lookout.

A smaller Namekian walked up to the due. "Should I send out a signal to the others to meet us up here?"

"You're the guardian of Earth, Dende. It's your call." the little man nodded.

Everybody gathered to Kami's lookout as fast as possible. They all wondered what was going on after the whole tournament situation where Vegeta went rogue.

Piccolo met them all as Jin-Jer separated herself from the worried group. She pushed herself off of the pillar she was leaning up against when she felt a presence behind her. She turned around, "Kakarot?"

"Hi Jin-Jer. I can sense that everybody is here."

"Yeah." she crossed her arms, "Just waiting to get everyone assorted so we can tell them the news." the bothered Saiyan looked away, folding her arms over her chest. "I'm sorry about your son."

"Thank you." Goku placed his hand on her shoulder. Her puffy eyes slowly made their way up to his face. "I know Vegeta meant a lot to you. But I promise, Majin Buu will pay for this."

Jin-Jer scowled and shrugged away his hand. The thought of having people know you were hurting on the inside disgusted Jin-Jer. She was a Saiyan warrior after all. She dealt with the loss of her comrades and siblings. The fact that one mans death hit her so hard, felt like a disgrace against everything she's been through.

Goku knew that Jin-Jer was trying to hide how she really felt. He couldn't blame her though. It was understandable. She was still a stone cold Saiyan who didn't want to let her walls down around people she doesn't even know too well.

She followed behind him when he walked to the group, who all were ecstatic to see him.

"Goku where's Gohan and Goten?" Chi-Chi asked. Piccolo could feel the sweat running down the side of his cheek.

"Yeah, and what about Vegeta and Trunks?" Bulma asked. Jin-Jer looked down at her feet.

There was a dead silence filling the air full of worry. "Goku, where are my sons?"

"What I'm about to say won't be easy to hear." he began, trying his best to drop the bomb as gently as possible. "Trunks and Goten will be alright." a small weight was lifted off the two mothers shoulders. "But... Gohan and Vegeta are dead. Majin Buu killed them."

Everybody was shocked to the point where they looked frozen. Chi-Chi's feet couldn't even hold her up anymore. She fainted right in front of Ox King who caught his daughter before she hit the floor.

Bulma screamed Vegeta's name at the top of her lungs and cried as Yamcha tried to comfort her. All while Videl stood there in disbelief, not believing that the man she loved was dead.

Bulma looked over at Jin-Jer who had a cold, dead look in her eyes as she watched the suffering group. "And what is she doing here?"

Jin-Jer gave her a death glare. "Vegeta told her to get the boys to safety. And that's what she did." Piccolo interrupted.

"What do we do now?" Krillin asked.

"Goten and Trunks are our last hope. They're the only ones strong enough to defeat Majin Buu if they learn the fusion technique."

"Goku, do you really think they're ready?" Piccolo wasn't comfortable with knowing that the fate of the universe was in the hands of two little boys.

"They have no choice. We need them to prepare as soon as they wake up."

After the news was broken to Goten and Trunks about Gohan and Vegeta, they cried but were certain about one thing. Together, they would make Majin Buu pay for what he did to their family.

While everybody was preparing for what would happen next, the only thing on Jin-Jer's mind was how long she had left on this now dreadful planet.

She didn't believe the boys could get the job done if Vegeta couldn't. Might as well let things end quickly rather than suffer slowly until you drown in your own blood.
