Jin-Jer had bumped her head when she landed and her vision went blurry. All she could hear was. "You idiot!" Vegeta pushed Goku to the ground, "Why would you save that pathetic oaf and that damn Namek boy instead of your own sons?! Have you lost your mind?!"
"Vegeta. Sorry." Dende apologized, even though this wasn't his fault.
Vegeta ignored him and crossed his arms. "I can't believe that maniac blew up the earth."
That last sentence pulled Jin-Jer into reality. "Will someone please tell me what the hell just happened?!"
They all turned to face the Saiyan in shock, not even noticing she was there. "Jin-Jer?" Goku said, "I thought you died."
"I can assure you I'm not dead, Kakarot." she looked over at Vegeta who was still like stone. "I'm sorry I didn't protect your son like I promised." Jin-Jer looked down in shame. She never thought that she would have to tell Vegeta that to his face. Which made her feel even worse about abandoning everybody.
"Hey wait!" Goku interrupted, "We can bring back the earth and everybody else with the Namekian dragon balls!"
Jin-Jer's eyes grew wide, "Excuse me? How are a dragon's balls going to help us? They eat those on certain planets, y'know."
"No, they're not actual dragon-"
"Nevermind that Goku." Elder Kai cut him off. "We can't do that"
"Why not?" he asked.
"Because it goes against the laws of nature." he explained.
"Aren't you being a little strict?" Goku smiled hopefully and twittled his fingers around. "After all, the Earth has a lot of beautiful women." he kneeled down and raised his eye brows. "Remember that reward for helping Gohan?"
Elder Kai smiled and laughed. "Ohhh you mean that one!"
"The one you get to kiss." Jin-Jer nearly gagged at that comment. Who would want to kiss that thing.
"Say, didn't she die when the Earth blew up?"
"Yeah, but we can bring everyone back with the dragon balls!" Goku happily reminded.
"Kakarot, you wouldn't happen to be talking about Bulma would you?" Goku tried avoiding the question. "Oh you idiot! Don't you have any sense at all?! Let him kiss your woman!" Vegeta screamed in his face. There was no way that Goku was letting Chi-Chi kiss Elder Kai though.
"No earth woman. No deal." Elder Kai crossed his arms.
"Who else do we know that could do it?" Vegeta tapped his chin.
Goku gasped, having an idea. "Hey, Elder Kai. How do you feel about kissing a strong, slender woman with a nice set of curves? Even though she's not necessarily human." Goku turned Elder Kai's head to look at Jin-Jer who figured out who they were talking about.
"No way! I'm not kissing him!"
"No way! She's not kissing him!" She and Vegeta both shouted at the same time."C'mon you guys. This is our only option."
Jin-Jer growled, "You two owe me big time for this!" she stomped over to the pervert old man. He stared her up and down and was almost drooling from the mouth. Gross! Gross! Gross! Gross! Jin-Jer picked up the small Kai and planted a hard kiss on his wrinkly lips. Goku covered his mouth about to puke. While Vegeta clenched his teeth, looking away in anger.
Elder Kai took it one step too far when he squeezed her boob. "Ugh! You dirty old man!" Jin-Jer dropped him to his feet and punched the top of his head.
"Serves him right." Vegeta growled, watching that geezer hold his aching head.
"Jin-Jer!" Goku yelled in a worry, "Now he might not let us use the dragon balls."
"Oh no." Elder Kai waved his finger and walked around in a drunken manner. There was a light pink blush on his face as he smiled. "I like a woman who's the dominant one in the relationship." he chuckled.
"Grrrrrr..." Jin-Jer was about to pounce, until Vegeta and Goku had to hold her back.
"Can we use the dragon balls or what?!" Vegeta yelled, still trying to hold back the angry woman.
"Oh yes, of course." he chuckled. Vegeta and Goku finally let Jin-Jer go when she calmed herself.
Kibito Kai was about to say something until he felt an awful energy. "He's here."
"Alright. All of you get away from here." Vegeta ordered. "Jin-Jer, I need you to make sure that nothing happens to the Namek Boy."
"And take care of Mr.Satan." Goku added.
"So now I'm a babysitter?" she threw her arms in the air, "Just perfect. Okay, follow me."
They all travelled away from the battlefield where they'd be safe.
"What if they don't beat Buu?" Mr.Satan asked.
"Have a little bit of hope. Will you?" Jin-Jer told him. "I know they can defeat that thing."
The energy radiating through the area was intense. Goku was so strong. But he was losing energy fast. She was able to tell that they were going to take turns fighting Kid Buu to give the other time to recover.
All of a sudden, Jin-Jer started to feel guilty. Guilty that she did nothing to protect earth and its people. She couldn't make the same mistake again. She stood up from behind the boulders.
"Jin-Jer?" Dende held her wrist, "What are you doing?"
"I'm going to help them."
"You can't!" Kabito Kai yelled, "You were told to-"
Jin-Jer smirked to herself, "You going to stop me?"
When they all stood up to convince her not to go, Jin-Jer raised her hand, bringing down an electric force field that she gathered from the sky. Barricading everybody inside it.
"What's this?" Elder Kai touched the sparkling force field, then flew back when it electrocuted him.
"Lightning I gathered from the clouds. It should hold up for a while. No one gets out. Buu can't get in. You're safe in here."
"Jin-Jer!" Dende yelled for her to come back.
If we don't win. At least I died trying like the proud warrior that I am.
