AUTHOR'S NOTE
EDIT [ MAY 2018 ] : i completely edited this book, with some things changed through the chapters. this was so unbearable for me to reread and i hated it (though less than madrid hehe) so i wanted to reedit. if you read through the chapters, the votes and comments have stayed, but in most cases, not really the position of the comments, iygm? that's cause i rewrote on a different part and then copy and pasted lol. im SO sorry if you were in the middle of reading this book and if you got a bajillion notifs that i updated this, but the chapters are really different, longer and in my opinion, better. the premise is still exactly the same with nothing really added, so you don't really need to reread but im continuing this story with a second 'part' of the book, showing what happens to them from where i ended the book! it will be on slow-updates, though because state of grace is of higher priority, but that books about 3/4 finished!! if you are rereading, the chapters with the greatest change are chapter one and nineteen! but nineteen is completely, completely, completely different because the previous version is acc the bane of my existence and i have no idea who wrote that piece of trash xxx

hey! i hope you all enjoy this book and i wanted to just start off the story with some music, a universal language. to me, music is basically the core to most of my stories and help me shape the book and guide me to plots. believe it or not, this book was started before divide by ed sheeran came out but when i listened to his songs and particularly the last two on this playlist, i was so blown away and amazed by how relatable they were to this book. truly, those songs have helped shape this book.
i hope that if you listen to these songs, you'll find a fragment of gianna and rafa in there somewhere for a split second.
