Chapter 13

It was dead silent, team 7 was being sneaky trying to get their target.. the seriousness could be felt in the air..

"What's the distance to the target?" kakashi whispered into the communication device.

"Five meters, I'm ready anytime" sasuke whispered just as quiet

"So am I" naruto followed

"Wait! targets moving I repeat target is moving" sakura said but it was too late

sasuke and naruto already charged ahead while the cat already ran away, lucky into naoki's direction

"I got the cat.. ribbon on the left side confirmed" She said softly and held onto the cat

"Good, lost cat tora search mission, complete!" Kakashi announced

"Oh~ my cute little Tora-chan I was so worried!" Cried the client

No wonder why it ran away.. team 7 minus kakashi sweat dropped

"Now, kakashi's team 7 your next mission is.. lets see, babysitting an elders baby, help with the garden and -"

"Stop!" Sakura interrupted

"Hokage-sama, can we get a more interesting mission?" She went on

The team agreed, kakashi just sighed.. He knew this was coming sooner or later..

"You just became rookies, everyone starts at the easy duties and SLOWLY works their way up" Iruka scolded them

Yondaime sighed and once again explained the mission giving system, not that they paid much attention to it anyway.. they were to busy thinking of their next meal..

"Tou-chan.. We get it, but we have matured allot during the D-rang missions and we think we are ready." Naoki told her dad

The rest of the team nodded, minus Kakashi who sighed.. again this time together with iruka..

The hokage gave in and gave them a C-rank mission. They had to protect a certain individual, a bridge builder

A man came in, he was the bridge builder he had a sake bottle in on hand and seemed to complaining about the assigned team, especially towards naruto for some reason..

"I'm the super expert bridge builder, tazuna. I expect you to provide me protection until I get back in my country and complete the bridge." Tazuna said

"Super expert bridge builder? More like an drunk old geezer.." naruto whispered with a complaining tone..

Naoki, who was the only one who heard elbowed naruto on the side and warned him to be polite.. even if the client is a brick..

The squad left konoha with the client to the county of waves. Tazuna was walking next to kakashi and naoki was next to him. The other three were in front of them. Sakura was next to sasuke (surprise..) and naruto next to sasuke.

Naruto seemed to be arguing with sasuke like always and sakura was glancing at sasuke but glaring at naruto.. for arguing with sasuke that is

"Hm? So Compared to sasuke, sakura is the short one.. but compared to nii.. they're way taller" Naoki though out loud nodding to herself

"Then what would that make you, naoki? You're shorter than the three of them" Kakashi laughed and placed his hand on her head ruffing her hair

"I'll grow taller than them, just you wait" naoki sulked standing on her toes to be slightly taller, which made kakashi smile even more not that you could see it.. because ya know.. the mask but moving on
