Chapter 21

"Sakura.. how's Sasuke's condition?" Naoki asked

"He's got a strong fever, but his breathing turned normal.. how's naruto?"

"No signs of waking up.. I'm thinking he won't for at least a few more hours.."

Even Kurama won't say anything.. naoki added without verbally saying it

Naoki and sakura were hiding under three roots. It's been a day since the attack and they haven't slept since. They kept their guards up, but even tiredness got to them.. but worst of all is that their resources were all gone at this point..

"Sakura, you stay here on guard. I'll look for food, water and some herbs" naoki said and carefully stepped outside the hiding zone

"Got it, be careful there are allot of teams still out there" Sakura said

Naoki nodded

"If something happens and you think its a uncontrollable situation, fire this. If it goes off, wherever I am I'll be able to sense it and rush over." Naoki said and handed a piece of paper with a particular seal on it

"Okay" sakura said and took the paper

Naoki strayed a bit too far, she wasn't exactly sure how far but at least she found enough food and a water source.

She was planning to also look for herbs but she sensed the piece of paper going off.. she frowned and rushed to the direction she sensed the chakra dispel.

".. I won't make it.. dammit!" She said frustrated

Ryu took pity on naoki and decided to help

"I'll take you, but so you know.. I can't for too long for now. So after I help I'll return right into a marking on your arm for at least a few days.." ryu explained

"And there will be temporary health consequences.. that's because I'm forcing out your chakra without a proper contract.." she added

"That's fine, please take me there..!" Naoki pleaded

Ryu slowly moved from the arm to the actual creature it is and with her tail got naoki and flew.

"R-ryu you weren't a snake?? B-but a giant.. never mind we'll talk later.."

Ryu flew fast and they were above the group of people.. but that was exactly the time ryu had in her true form.. she poofed away back on naoki's arm and naoki fell from high up in the sky..

Naoki, she fell right on top an enemy named zaku.. and also right at the time sakura seemed to be screaming stop

Naoki was utterly confused... she got up and looked at her surroundings.. Sasuke had markings on his face, neck and arm... Sasuke's markings gave naoki a eery feeling, like the orochimaru person..

He had this intense killing intend going on.. there was a guy identified as zaku on the ground groaning in pain, it seems that sasuke did that and partly naoki.. Another person identified as kin, was already unconscious and the last one standing was a guy all bandaged up he was identified as dosu.
