Unexpected ★ (US Sans x Reader)

Sans And Papyrus

                        (you'll see why that video is there later on in the chapter)

You turn around and shake your hand with the mysterious figure.

FLARPPPPPPPPP

You flinch at the hand shake ''Heh whoopee cushion in the hand trick, it never gets old!'' Says the tall figure. Your head is up to it's shoulder.

''I'm papyrus, papyrus the skeleton, What's your name?''

''Uhh....Y-Y/N.'' You say nervous. You fiddle with your thumbs and papyrus breaks the silence. ''Anyway your a human right?'' You nod your head ''That's hilarious, I'm suppose to be out watching for them but I don't feel like capturing anybody.'' Oh.............Great you think in your head ''Now my brother ,Sans he is a human hunting FANATIC!!! But don't worry, he wont hurt a fly!'' The statement makes you calm. You were thinking about some giant skeleton monster killing you, but turns out it wont be.........probably.

''Wait- I think that's him!'' You turn around and see a figure approaching but it still has a long way to go. ''Go over this gate, yeah right over it, bro made the bars to short to stop anyone.'' You attempt to jump over it, but your  way too short. Papyrus, who is  over the gate sees you struggling and chuckles. He watches you struggle for about a good 7 seconds. He then lifts you up,(with magic of course) and puts you next to a plant. ''Don't move!'' Says papyrus quickly.

On cue a short skeleton, probably sans enters the scene. He seems to be shorter than you. ''There you are Papyrus!!! I could not find you at Muffet's!!! What are you doing here?''

''Looking at this plant! Wanna look bro?''  ''NO! I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS'' Sans says while stomping his foot on the ground, it was kind of cute, the scene of which sans was angry and papyrus was chuckling.

A tickle invades your nose, probably from the cold you were standing in makes you sneeze.

''a-a-a-ACHOO!'' You sneeze and sans hears, papyrus does and says ''I think the plant sneezed Sans!'' ''Papyrus........plants don't sneeze!'' ''well see if there is somethings behind it!'' Papyrus says and you make a 'Really u being serious RN?!?!?!?' face

Sans peeks behind the plant to see a human girl ,you. Sans' eyes widen in surprise.

'' A HUMAN" Sans says over excitedly. It was an over reaction, you are thinking in your mind ''I'm a human so what? Your a monster, WOW''. ''Human I challenge you to battle, after you complete all of my puzzles!!!''

He runs off while saying ''Mweh heh heh?'' What type of laugh was that? You think in your head as you look at Papyrus.

'' ill see ya up ahead, Y/N'' He says then he walks the other direction. Wait why is he walking the other direction, you ponder in your mind, sans walked the other way. It does not matter, you walk up ahead to see sans and papyrus talking about something. ''So as I was saying about Alphys...'' Sans says as he turns his head toward your direction.  He talks, well yells about him capturing you, you sneeze a couple of times, oh no, your sick.

''You okay kid?'' Papyrus says after sans leave, just a conversation between him and you

''Uh.....No I don't feel good.'' Your stomach starts hurting, was it out of hunger or just pain? ''Lets take ya to my house ,ya need some rest anyway.'' Papyrus says. You two walk to Papyrus and Sans' House it did not take long like half an hour? But it felt like 5 hours to you. ''Is the human alright?'' Sans asks concerned, for someone who wants to capture a human, he is pretty worried about you. ''Yeah she just needs some rest is a.......'' That's all you hear as you drift off to sleep

Papyrus takes a worried glance at you. ''Oh, she fell asleep'' Papyrus does not want her to sleep on the couch, maybe she can sleep in his bed? No too messy, or sans' bed, maybe. ''Hey Sans?'' ''Yeah Paps?'' ''Can Y/N sleep in your bed tonight, her neck might hurt in the morning from the arm rests.'' ''Sure Papyrus!'' Sans picks you up bridal style and carries you to his room. He sets you in his bed and you cuddle with a pillow, what? You enjoyed to cuddle with things while sleeping. Sans thought it was kind of cute to be completely honest. He goes down stairs to sleep on the couch, but finds out that Papyrus had beaten him to it. Sans huffed angrily and thought of where to sleep. ''The floor, no too rough. Pap's room? No, too messy. In the bed with you? Uhhhh.................sure why not?''

Sans goes to his room to find you crying, probably a nightmare, no you were awake. ''Leave me alone, please go away'' You whisper, sans realizes your not talking to him, it was because of your nightmare.

''Y/N?, are you okay?'' Sans  says concerned. There he goes again being there for someone in need. ''Yeah, I'm fine..........''you say, with a non-convincing  grin, it was the fakest grin, even a dog could recognize it as fake. Sans walks up to you and gives you a hug. ) You tell decide to tell Sans about your nightmare, you could trust him after all. ''L-Lexi D-d-died, Be-b-because she was l-l-looking for m-me and......'' You could not talk anymore, you were over whelmed from fear, and sadness. Lexi dying? Please!

~Sans' P.O.V (why not?)~

I felt so bad for Y/N!!! Papyrus usually does not get nightmares this bad. But when Y/N hugged me I felt something warm in me. My soul had a strong feeling. I felt my cheeks (or cheekbones) heat up, for some weird reason. I new why. I liked Y/N, not platonically ,but romantically. I shiver at the thought, Y/N is crying over a nightmare and here I am thinking about my love for her.

~Back to your P.O.V~

You eventually fell asleep while sans hugged you, you'll thank him in the morning...........

You woke up in sans' bed with sans next to you, hugging you like you were his life line, you probably were. A blue blush was hinted on his cheekbones, it lit up the bed, he was probably having a really good dream if he blushed that much, wait why is his blush blue? Never mind..... You manage to get Sans off of you and walk out of the room without waking him. He was probably a deep sleeper anyway.

Nobody is up yet, papyrus is sleeping on the couch, he had a room, cant he just sleep in there? You decided to make breakfast. Waffles, pancakes, or eggs and toast. You decided to make waffles, they were your favorite anyway. You made the batter when you realized they did not have a waffle maker, shucks, disappointing. It was fine you could make pancakes. You mixed some chocolate chips in there, why not? You were humming ''New Soul'' (the video on the top) as you were cooking.

~Sans' P.O.V~

I woke up and yawned. You turn around to see Y/N not there. Bummer, you kind of got pouty, until you see your door opened a little bit. ''Maybe she's on the couch.'' You step out of your room to see that she is not on the couch, you get a little anticipated, but soon hear a catchy hum and sizzling in the kitchen. She must be cooking breakfast. As I was walking down the stairs I smelt chocolate chips. I watched her cook from the corner. Before she finished I sat on the couch to make sure she did not know I was watching her. A blue blush dusted my cheekbones.

~back to your P.O.V~

You finished making breakfast. As you were cooking Sans came out of his room, he must of sat on the couch as you were finishing up. You made 3 plates and put them on the table and said ''Breakfast is done!''. Papyrus woke up and sat down, as Sans got up and sat down. Sans, and papyrus compliment your cooking. ''Thanks guys, not a big deal though!'' Sans replied with enthusiasm'' THIS IS A BIG DEAL!!! You should teach me how to make these!!!'' You get flustered, you did not receive much compliments, and when you did, they were not really ''compliments''. You then took the plates and went to go wash them. Sans took them and washed them himself. You sat on the couch watching T.V with papyrus. You took out your sketch book and drew.

~Papyrus's P.O.V~

I saw Y/N take out a sketch book and draw. I decided to watch her draw, what? I was curious. I also wanted to make sure she did not draw anything............bad. She drew sans yelling at me while she was behind the plant. The drawing almost looked realistic. It was so good that it actually surprised me. ''That's a really good drawing Y/N!'' I said. I looked up at her, her face  was red as a tomato. She probably was not used to people complimenting her drawings. ''U-Uh th-thanks p-p-Papyrus.'' she stuttered. ''Oh, I'm sorry'' I said, I did not know that's how she would react. ''Its fine'' she said and her face went back to normal and she continued to draw.
