Unexpected ★ (US Sans x Reader)

The surface

You awoke on the couch, wait. Sans and Papyrus's couch. The house was blank except, well, the couch. There seemed to be a note on your forehead. It read 'Hello Y/N, its Sans here! We are at Queen Toriel's castle waiting for you, see you then'. You decided to leave immediately. Wait. Your backpack. Where was it? You remember leaving it next to the couch.

You found your backpack, and then left. You took the River Man's boat to Hot land. And you started running to Toriel's Castle.

You finally arrived and you were out of breath. Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Toriel, and Asgore were sitting in the golden flowers, talking about something. ''H-Hey I'm'' You wheezed. '' HERE!'' You clutched your stomach, it has been awhile since you ate something, and all that running worked you up an appetite. Toriel patted the seat next to her, which you gladly took. You were sweating, and you wiped it off with your sleeve.

''Y/N, i have an important task to ask you.'' She took a sip of her tea. You blinked twice. ''I was wondering if you could be the ambassador of Monster kind.'' She looked at you with seriousness. You started to get nervous. You hated talking to people, and being an ambassador would require a lot of that.

''Alright, ill do it.'' Oh, geez. what were you getting yourself into?

You stepped out of your apartment with Sans. You guys finished setting it up. You were a busy person, being an ambassador. You wore a badge that said. 'Y/N Official Monster Ambassador' (first and last). You were required to wear it when ever you went in public. Little children would always beg for your auto-graph. You and Sans were walking to the local store to pick up some stuff for Taco's. And maybe to get a little bit of chocolate. You got paid a bit of money to appear at meetings, and shows. You went in a talk show to tell how you fell down MT. Ebott. Lets just say................... it did not end well.

You and Sans were arguing on when ether you should stay home tonight, or go to the meeting, which lasted 5 hours. You decided to stay home. You led Sans to the Candy Isle, to get some chocolate, Cookies and Cream or course. But what you saw shocked you. There was no mistaking it.

Its her.

She picked up dark chocolate, and turned around. She stopped in her tracks when she saw you though. Her pupils dilated. Lexi, who you thought would scream in joy and hug you till you died, back away slowly. Tears fell down your face. Oh, God, Isabell was right. Cuts were along the sides of her arms. Scrapes and clean cuts were on her legs. This is all your fault.

Sans was so confused. ''L-L-Lexi.'' Your voice cracked. ''P-Please'' You hiccuped. ''I-I'm sorry''

She shook her head. Tears fell down her cheeks. ''Y-YOU LIED TO ME!!'' She yelled. ''I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!'' She looked at you and saw your badge. She then saw the monster behind you. ''W-w-w-w-wait'' She grabbed her head. ''A-are you telling me.............'' She hiccuped. ''You fell down Mt. Ebott'' She took a slow step forward. ''That's why you did not respond...........'' She laughed. More, but slow tears fell down her peachy cheeks.

''Someone pushed me down there Lexi. I'm sorry i even went down there in the first place'' You walked over to her. You pulled her in a hug. Sans was watching all of this. Soft sobs echoed in the empty store. Sans spoke up,'' Y/N, I'm sorry to interrupt your moment with this human.'' He pointed to Lexi. ''But who is she?'' You chuckled. You back way from Lexi. You put a hand on her shoulder. " Sans, this is my friend, Lexi." He looks at her and perks up. " Oh, YOU'RE Lexi!!" Lexi gives you a confused look.

She squints her brown eyes. "Y/N.........what did you tell him....?" You close your eyes. "Nothing, just the fact you can play piano" She sighs. "Good" You exit the aisle. "Anyway, you two get to  know each other, I'm gonna get the Taco stuff......." And with that you exit.
