Zara's POV:

"Told you we'd beat you, you forget they've got me on their team." I smirk at the boys who all seem a tad annoyed they got beat by the girls.

"That's not fair because your actually good." The other girls fake shock at Matt's comment and I laugh. "I'm gonna go get some drinks, anyone else want?" Everyone nods and Matt shakes his head knowing he's going to have to bring all them drinks over.

"Who's up for a rematch?" I smirk leaning on my pool stick, a familiar voice agrees from behind me and everyone looks a little stunned. I turn and see the man who abandoned me last nice. He goes to take me stick but I quickly pull it away.

"Sorry, your not invited." I give him a sickly sweet smile and turn back around to see everyone trying not to smile. Suddenly I feel my stick being forced from my hand.

"It wasn't a request." He smirks at me before setting up the table near Tyler and I notice he shifts tensely. "I wasn't aware of your return Mr Lockwood. I'm a bit hurt you didn't come to see me." I feel my phone vibrate and look down to see who it is. Says it's from Bonnie? I open the text which reads how do you know him? I quickly reply saying how I met him last night and we nearly got off but he left and as she reads it she shows Elena. What's the big deal? He's cute. A douche but cute. They both look at me and I just shrug, what can I say? I'm into dick heads. I dated Tyler after all. Speaking of, I look over to him and can see his fists are clenched and he's very angry, which is obvious to everyone notices but no one says a thing. Well I am certainly not going to let this bully get underneath Tyler's skin.

I walk so I'm in between Ty and Klaus. "Excuse you, but me and my friends having fun and playing pool, and, I'll repeat because you clearly didn't hear me," Elena try's to pull me back but I quickly take my arm back, "you are not invited." I snatch the pool stick back and glare at him, he looks down at me and smirks. "You can leave Tyler alone while your at it. See ya round." I wave in his face and I can tell this annoys him a bit. I feel Tyler's hand on my shoulder.

"Zara, I can handle this." I laugh a little.

"Clearly not, why is everyone so afraid of this bully?" Matt wonders back over with the drinks and looks shocked at what is unfolding before him. "He clearly is just so unhappy with his life he can't let anyone feel joy." The man steps a little closer to me but I refuse to back down.

"Watch your tongue little miss. Someone might not like what your saying and cut it off." I'm a little taken aback by his threat but just laugh it off.

"I've seen some pathetic people in my time, but empty threats?" I shake my head and shoot the white ball into all the others, potting five of them. "That's real low." I turn back to the man and he begins to walk away. Everyone looks slightly confused but they soon smile and begin to applaud me. I bow for my adoring audience. "I know I know, I'm pretty awesome." I feel Tyler hug me from behind and I lean into his arm laughing alone with everyone else, apart from Caroline who I notice is looking at the ground. Weird.

*later on that day*

We played one more game of pool, which I obviously won, then Care offered to drive me home before anyone else could and I gratefully excepted. We're sat in her car and the silence is so loud. "Okay what's wrong with you?" I finally ask.

"Me and Tyler. We had a thing before he left." I laugh as that is surly some sort of joke, they hated each other for the longest time. She glares at me and I quickly realise that this is no joke. I turn back looking at the road.
