Zara's POV:

Me and Bonnie decided to go get coffee after school, so here we are sitting outside the Grill, Bonnie had black coffee like the bad ass she is, then there's me who's sat here with jasmine tea, Bon thought my order was just so damn funny but she doesn't get it! It's just so nice! "So, you and Jer huh?" Wiggling my eyes brows, Bonnie begins to look embarrassed. "I didn't see that on coming." She nods and laughs a little.

"Neither did I." We both continue to talk about little nothings and she tells me about her and Jer, about how they slowly started hanging out once he was out of his emo stage which I personally thought was amazing, and how they slowly started falling for each other, Jer first but Bon soon after. I'm happy for her, she deserves it so much. She goes on to ask me of my love life. This story isn't as happy.

"There was a guy in New York but it didn't last very long, he was a complete dick." That's not true, he was lovely, amazing even, but I couldn't bring him into my life with my farther running lose. "So right now, I'm forever alone." I say sipping my tea.

"I'm sure that's not true! Anyone caught your eye in town?" Her question stuns me slight, though I have no idea why. It's a completely understandable question. But the thought made me shiver, truth is yes, a few people have caught my eye, but I don't think I could tell Bonnie just yet.

"I mean not really, there are some obvious hotties but not been here long enough yet. Ask me again in a few weeks." I wink at her and we both laugh before I see a familiar blonde, but I'm not quite sure why. Then I remember. From the party! "Hey!" I stand and yell at the girl who's seemingly walking away, Bonnie turns to see who I'm waving at. The blonde turns and smiles at me, I can't for the life of me remember her name, but as she starts to walk over Bonnie looks back at me with an annoyed expression, gaining a confused one from me. When she arrives at our table and smile at her. "You helped me at the party the other day?" She smiles.

"Yes, you seemed like you needed it." She laughs a little and I do to. "Bonnie, always a pleasure." She sweetly smiles at Bonnie but Bon just crosses her arms. Okay then.

"You two know each other?" They both nod but neither seem overly happy with it. "I'm sorry but I've completely forgotten your name?" I ask unsure of how she'll react to this but ended up being pretty well.

"Rebekah Mikaelson." Her British accent makes me smile as she says her name. I compliment her name and she thanks me, proceeding to tell me that I can call her Bekah, I tell her that I will do so. The whole time Bonnie looks like a child having a tantrum which makes me smile a little as Bonnie was always the sensible one who was all so grown up, but now she seems to have chanced, but I think I like this small change in my serious friend. "Well I best be going, my idiot brothers got himself in trouble apparently so I need to go save his butt." She smiles and walks away leaving me laughing then a think for a moment.

"Wait, is her brother Klaus?" This brings a smile to Bonnie for the first time since the encounter.

"Obviously, have you only just noticed." I force a smile and I feel like I have something to tell Bonnie about the strange man but nothing comes to mind. Weird. "Anyway, what else are you doing today?" I look at my tea and sigh. I tell her how I have nothing to do and complain about my boring ass life a small bit and slouch back in my chair dramatically. She laughs at my act and tells me that she would do something with me but she's busy, while not telling me why she is busy. Strange. I still feel like everyone is keeping secrets from me but I'm determined to find out. Bonnie goes to get up but I grab her arm before she can leave.

"Let me come with? I won't be a pain I'll just sit in the corner and look pretty?" She looks down shaking her head.

"You can't come. I'll message you later though?" She quickly removes her arm from my grip and almost sprints away. That was rude. Now what do I do with my life? I sit back in my chair finishing my tea. What is it that has Bonnie so secretive? If everyone's in on this little secret there's got to be someone I can squeeze it out of. Elena would never tell a secret, especially if it wasn't hers like me, I don't feel like I know Stefan enough to integrate him, Jeremy? He might tell, no, wait he's with Bonnie now and he'd never betray her. Shit! Why did I not think of this ages ago? The biggest gossip at school is one tap away from me. I smile and get up walking to my car swiftly, once on arrival I open the door and slide in grabbing my phone out of my bag and phoning 'Care bear 🐻🎀'. It rings and I slowly grow excited at my amazing plan, it rings again, she'll pick up any second now, another ring and my smile begins to drop, come on, at the forth ring my call is denied. Denied. Why would she reject my call? I huff and cross my arms pouting before I hear my car door open and close making me jump. I turn and see, Klaus?
