Stella sat on her bed, fiddling with the locket around her neck. A knock sounded at the door and it slowly slid open, revealing her father standing anxiously at the doorway.

"Hey, kiddo. I know we haven't really talked since the accident-- I've been trying to give you your space, but I'm your dad and I'm worried about you, Stella," her dad said worriedly.

"I just miss him, daddy," Stella said quietly, not wanting to cry. She had done too much crying recently. She just wanted to go one day without breaking down.

"I know, honey," her dad said, sitting down on the bed and pulling her into a hug.

"Hey, I brought you something that might cheer you up," he added softly. She leaned back, furrowing her eyebrows at him. He pulled out his phone, turning the volume all the way up as My Girl blasted from the speaker.

"Our song?" Stella asked, a small smile creeping onto her face.

"You know it, kiddo," he said happily, holding out his hand to her. She sighed deeply, taking his hand as he spun her around the room.

My Girl played loudly over the speakers as they walked into the dance like a trio in a badass film.

"I'm out, kids. Now, Jeffrey, don't do anything to my sister you wouldn't do if I were there," Noah warned, separating himself from the couple.

"You got it, boss," Jeff scoffed, chuckling to himself as he pulled Stella closer into his side.

"You're ditching?" Stella asked her twin.

"I've got people to woo," Noah shrugged, fading into the crowd.

"And then there were two," Jeff sighed, leaning down to kiss the top of her head.

"I gotta say, baby-- damn," Jeff said, looking down at her in her dress.

"That suit looks so damn good on you I can't help but want to rip it off," Stella teased, winking at him. He laughed, shaking his head.

"Hey, look, it's Clay!" Jeff exclaimed, looking up into the bleachers.

"Did I hear correctly? I heard you say hey look it's my boyfriend! Did I get that right?" Stella teased.

"Whatever," Jeff scoffed, grabbing her hand and leading her through the mobs of people. They plopped down in the seat next to Clay, sliding closer to him. They each sat on a different side of him, trapping him into talking to them.
