Oc x Stark/Rogers
Theadora Grace's life has never changed. For as long as she could remember, Thea had brawn and brains. But as she becomes more involved with The Avengers, secrets that she didn't know existed started to be revealed a...
Bullets rained down from the grey sky towards the team of superheroes. Over the sounds of battle, Tony's repulsers could be heard as he and Sam flew overhead, covering anybody who needed it. Thea was on the ground with Steve, Clint, and Bucky, taking out any of the HYDRA agents that they could.
"Buck! Twelve o'clock!" Thea yelled into her earpiece as she took out another man. More kept coming, she kicked and swung around the black batons, taking out each one at a time. An arm wrapped itself around her neck, surprising her. She dropped the baton and gripped the arm with both hands.
"Thea!" Steve yelled, taking out another. Thea stomped hard on the man's foot before swinging her lower body up, twisting his arm and landing on his shoulders. Power surged through her and she could hear his heart beating in his chest. Her elbow came down hard on his head, weakening him. She grabbed his head, leaned forward, and slammed him down on the ground, grabbing his gun in the process. The batons were long gone, lost in the fight. She turned and continued to fight. Thea could hear the cocking of a gun, the sound of the trigger, the bullet whizzing in the air, but her reflexes failed her. A sharp pain in her lower abdomen forced a scream from her lips and she dropped to the ground, her vision becoming fuzzy.
"Steve! She's down!" Sam called through the earpiece, though she could hardly make anything out. Thea felt a strong arm wrap around her shoulders as Steve shielded her with his body and held his shield in front of them. He ran towards the jet that Bruce had just landed in front of them.
"Into the jet! Everybody, now!" Steve's voice was the last she had heard before blacking out.

Steve sat in the cracked green chair next to the white covered bed holding Thea's body. The cold hospital room had been completely silent except for the beeping of a heart monitor attached to her body. He hasn't slept in a week, not since the night before the mission that had injured her. Thea's eyes haven't opened since then, a deep ocean of silence consuming her. A stray tear made its way down Steve's cheek and into his unshaven beard. The team had come everyday, bringing him food and clean clothes- not that it mattered, he didn't eat or sleep. He just sat, waiting, praying. Now he thought. He was thinking about what would happen if she never woke up; if that darkness held her captive forever. He thought about the things he could never tell Theadora Grace.
The first thing: how much he wanted to help her when they first met. The minute Steve ran past her in Central Park, he knew that she was damaged, alone. He knew that he wanted to help her; no matter the cost.
The second thing: she wasn't who she thought she was. The first night she had spent in the tower infirmary, Bruce ran an identity test through FRIDAY's system, pulling a match. The name Thea went by was nothing but imagination, created by the damned HYDRA agents that had taken her from her family so long ago. Theadora Grace is, in fact, Della Rose Stark.
The last thing that Steve would never get to tell Della was immensely inappropriate. It was frowned upon by SHIELD, by Fury, and most importantly, Steven Rogers himself. Within the six months of knowing the beautiful woman, Steve had grown fond of her, he wanted to stand by her side no matter what, to help her through whatever hardships came her way. But he couldn't. She couldn't know about the feelings the captain harbored for her or the way he looked at her when she wasn't paying attention. The team, they knew. Clint and Sam often caught Steve watching Della performing simple tasks with a look of complete adoration in his eyes. Tony and Bruce, they noticed his change in demeanor when she entered the room, his shortness of breath and the softer tone in his voice. And Nat, Nat just knew. She called it her 'spidey senses'. They had all noticed the same behavior from the brunette, all except Steve. It was true, no matter how hard he tried to shove back the feelings, Captain Steven Rogers was completely and utterly in love with Della Stark.
"Hey buddy," Steve jerked his head up and met the gaze of Sam. "Coffee?" He shook his head, looking back down at the small fragile hand resting in his own. Sam nodded and walked behind Steve, putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder. A loud sob wracked Steve's body, hunching his shoulders as he moved his hand to cover his eyes. "Alright, man. It's alright, go ahead and let it out." Sam squeezed the shoulder lightly, comforting his friend the best he could.
"I just don't understand, " he sobbed, "she didn't- she doesn't deserve to die!" Sam let out a sympathetic breath and crouched to Steve's eye level.
"Look at me, Steve, look in my eyes." His brown eyes met with the striking blue, "this girl is the strongest, most stubborn ass-kicker I've ever met. She will not die, you get me?" He put another hand on his left shoulder. "She will get through this. I promise you."

Wow, chapter 13!! Well I would just like to inform that from this point on, Steve will be referring to Thea as 'Della' While i focus on his thought in some chapters.
Another thing I want to point out is that this story will end sometime between 17-20 chapters. Yes, tragic. But I will soon be releasing another story shortly after.
