Chapter 11 - Home is where the heartbreak is
The Dilaurentis family aren't like any normal family. They try to be, but secrets have a way of coming out, and their family are rich with secrets. It's what destroyed them in the end.
Jessica and Kenneth Dilaurentis had two children, Jason and Alison. They moved to Rosewood when Alison started kindergarten. Since then, they were known as the perfect, rich, beautiful, loving family. No one knew the kind of secrets they were hiding. Or that they even had secrets to hide. Jessica Dilaurentis, the mother, had many secrets, I guess it runs in the family because so did her daughter Alison.
Since Ali disappeared, Jason moved away for a year and then came back. Ali's parents came back for the funeral but since then no one in Rosewood has seen either of them. Not until now.
Spencer, Hanna, Aria, Britney and Emily are in the cinema watching a movie, they take up most of the back row, seeing as there's only a few other people in the cinema.
Spencer looks across at the girls. "Don't you think Jason would have said something to the police if he knew who hurt Ali, clearly he doesn't cause nothing's happened. For 2 weeks now."
Britney thinks about last night in the library. "I think people are scared of Jason. He's unpredictable. I know Noel and Jenna are. They are in deep somehow. We have to know what they did to Ali. I need to know." After the movie ends, the girls head back to Britney's house.
The girls settle in the living room, and turn the TV on, so they can talk and no one will be able to hear, if they're listening in.
"I swear that bitch is contradicting itself. One day, A wants us to expose all of our secrets and then the next day, A is telling us to shut up. What is with this bitch." Hanna sighs.
The doorbell rings and Britney goes to answer it. Jason is standing at her doorstep.
"Hey."
"Hi Britney."
"Would you like to come in?" Britney opens the door more and lets Jason in. They walk into the living room and Britney mutes the TV.
"Hi girls. My parents have been talking and they want to have a memorial for Ali. It'll be tomorrow and they'd love it if you guys could speak. It'll be held at Rosewood High, in the main hall. You up for that?"
The girls nodded silently. "So are your parents back?" Britney asked him, curious.
"They will be. Only for the memorial though. Thanks for doing this. It means a lot." He says, looking at the girls.
Jason leaves the house and Britney shuts the door behind him. "I didn't know Mr and Mrs Dilaurentis were back." Hanna picks a handful of popcorn from the bowl and pours them into her mouth.
Emily looks at the girls. "Why do you think they're back, if it was me, it would be too hard for me to stay here. I would never come back to Rosewood again."
Britney tells the girls. "I think they want closure. Maybe that's what we all need, closure."
"How did Jason know we we were here. Don't you think that's creepy." Spencer says.
"No, he knows this house well." Britney replies.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot you guys were bed buddies."
"Seriously Spencer?! We weren't bed buddies! We just went out."
"Whatever, I just think that you guys aren't over."
"What d'you mean? Of course we are. He made that pretty clear when he left Rosewood."
"Why else would he be back?" Spencer asks her.
