Monday after school, two boys laid intertwined in the backseat of a car which was parked in a secluded corner. Simply basking in the bliss of young love, Bai Luo Yin was in Gu Hai's embrace with his back against Gu Hai's chest. Gu Hai was nuzzling his lover's cheek while Bai Luo Yin gently caressed Gu Hai's arms that were tightly around his waist. Gu Hai nudged Bai Luo Yin's cheek with his nose to prompt him to turn his face to the side. When he did so, Gu Hai left a lingering kiss. Gu Hai's eyes slowly opened to watch the boy in his arms. There was a crease between Bai Luo Yin's eyebrows. By now, Gu Hai had developed the ability to read the boy quite well.
"What are you thinking about hm?" Gu Hai asked with his lips caressing Bai Luo Yin's cheek again.
Bai Luo Yin's eyes shot open. There was silence for a moment. "Just thinking how nice it would be if we could pause time."
Gu Hai merely raised his eyebrows in question.
Bai Luo Yin continued. "Then we can delay getting back to reality."
"This is our reality." Gu Hai said stiffening.
Bai Luo Yin sighed. "You know it's not that simple."
Gu Hai's hold loosened. "You're having second thoughts again?". He turned Bai Luo Yin's face to hold his gaze. "Does being here, out in the open seem too risky? If so let's go to my place."
"I can't."
"Why?"
"We should.. take things slow."
Gu Hai pouted. Always too clever and seeing through my scheme.
"Besides.., there's something I need to tell you." Bai Luo Yin added sitting straight to look at Gu Hai more comfortably.
Gu Hai studied him carefully. "What is it this time? Don't tell me that we're about to get a half-brother."
Bai Luo Yin frowned at that. "what? Nonsense!"
"It is a possibility." Gu Hai stated as a matter of fact.
Bai Luo Yin smacked his arm. "Why would you even wanna bring up something like that at a moment like this?!"
Gu Hai smirked. "Forget it and let's just get back to our...moment". He bit his lip suggestively.
"You're crazier than usual if you think I'd kiss you again now! Go ahead, keep talking about us having a half-brother" Bai Luo Yin pushed him away.
