My views on Self-Expression
Self-expression is the declaration of one's thoughts and ideas on any subject, especially through the arts, such as, writing, dancing, creating music, visual art, etc.
From personal experience, I understand that sometimes we get this feeling that there is truly not a soul in the world that understands our way of thinking. As a result of this mindset, a lot of times we keep things that we need to let go bottled up. This leads to unnecessary stress and a build up of negative emotions in our systems.
In other cases, some of us just aren't good with our words. When we want to say things, we find ourselves stuttering and spluttering, grasping for some footing on what it is that needs to be said.
Self expression is very detrimental in these cases. In order for each and every one of us human beings to function, get along with others, and get along with ourselves, we need to find the best way possible to express our true feelings.
I express myself through writing. I am not very good at it, but I love to do it, nonetheless.
I sing and I (try to) dance.
I'm not very good at crafting, painting or even coloring, but art is still one of my passions.
