Who Really Defeated the White Witch?

Aidan's POV

I. Am. Bored. 

All we can do right now is look at the How. Some good points about it are there are a lot of places to train. And there are many secret passage ways. This is good if the Telmarines attack us.

"King Aidan! Your presence is requested at the Stone Table," Moonstorm, the young centaur that almost chopped Lucy's head off, said. I've been teaching Moonstorm a little sword fighting too.

"Thanks Moonstorm!"

Lucy's POV

Many Narnians were gathered at the stone table to discuss plans for battle. All of them were surrounding the table except for me and Aniera. We were sitting on it.

"Miraz's men and war machines are on their way. That means those same men aren't protecting his  castle," Peter told the Narnians.

"What do you suppose we do, Your Majesty?" Reepicheep asked.

"We-"

"Our-"

Caspian then motioned for Peter to speak.

"Our only hope is to strike them before they strike us." 

"But that's crazy! No one has ever taken the castle." Caspian said.

"There's always a first time."

Trumpkin then spoke, "We'll have the element of surprise."

"But we have the advantage here!" Caspian really is against this idea. Then I saw Ani roll her eyes.

Susan said, "If we dig in, we could probably hold them off." Peter looks like he's been betrayed. 

"I for one feel safer underground." Badger spoke.

"Look, I appreciate what you've done here, but this isn't a fortress. It's a tomb." Peter said. The tomb of someone that we should wait for!

"Yes and if they're smart, they'll just starve us out," Aidan said. Ani looked shocked that he was on their side. But then I saw both of them looking at each other and Ani nodded. Hmm. Probably a power.

"We could collect nuts!" A squirrel added.

"Yes! And throw them at the Telmarines!" Reepicheep said (I laughed when I saw that.), "Shut up!"

Reepicheep then said, "I think you know where I stand sire."

"If I can get your troops in, can you handle the guards?" Peter asked Glenstorm.

"Or die trying, My Liege." Peter seemed satisfied, but I had enough of this.

"That's what I'm worried about." 

"I'm sorry?" Peter said.

"You're all acting like there's only two options: Dying here or dying there."

"I'm not sure you've been listening Lu." Peter said gently.

"No you're not listening. Or did you forget who really defeated the White Witch?" I asked.

Aniera's POV

Peter looks like he was about to blow a gasket.

"I think we've waited long enough." Peter said. Oh no he didn't!

"That's how it is? We're just going to take this into our own hands?" I asked madly.

"We've managed before!" Peter said.

"We did yes. But do you not believe that Aslan will help us? Aidan's and my father?!?" I cried out.

"Aniera! We just can't rely on Aslan for everything! We need to live on our own!" Peter yelled.

"And we're not going to live if we attack! It's like we are talking about our own death sentences!" 

"Aslan is just someone who helped us on our first battle! Where is he now?!?!?" Peter yelled.

My eyes suddenly turned blue and I growled like a lion, "Don't you dare say anything like that again!" Everyone looked scared because I felt frost freezing part of the table, "Your ego is way to big now! WHO ARE YOU DOING THIS FOR? IS THIS FOR NARNIA OR FOR YOURSELF?!?!?!?" 

"Aniera this plan is going through. You are all dismissed." Peter said.

Once everyone was gone he said, "And we are done."
