Y/N's POV
As soon as I heard the word pretty, I couldn't contain my laughter. The thought of his reply to my question repeated over and over in my head, making it almost impossible to stop laughing.
"UHH, HUMAN? ARE YOU OKAY? YOU SEEM A LITTLE... KALEIDOSCOPIC IN YOUR FLESHY SKULL AREA." Blue asked, but I was unable to reply due to the never ending repeat of that thought.
"...Human?" He questioned again, a little more concerned this time. "Are you okay? Are you choking? Are you in need of assistance?!"
I finally was able to stop laughing, and I could reply this time. "I'm okay, Blue! I just-" I took a deep breath to avoid laughing anymore, then continued with my answer. "... I just found his reply funny!" Letting out a small chuckle, I looked back at the skeleton who had caused all of my laughter; his face was bright yellow. He walked over to us from where he had appeared and I decided to talk to him. I mean, if he's friends with Blue, he has to be a good person.
"Well, nice to meet you, Pretty!" I chirped, giggling. "I'm a bustop!"
"I- uh... What's a bustop?" He replied, smiling and laughing awkwardly.
"It's a me!" (Y/N is Mario cnfrmd)
"Uhhh, sure..."
Less than five seconds later, I erupted into yet another fit of giggles.
"DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?!" 'Pretty' screeched.
"I DON'T KNOW!" Blue shouted - or said due to the fact that it was his normal voice volume - back.
I continued with my laughing fit,not thinking much of their confused shouting... until I heard screaming.
At first, I found it hilarious. I had only just met these people and now they were screaming in confusion at my actions but then another thought popped into my mind 'wait it's like 11pm and they're screaming'
After wiping my tear filled eyes, I looked back at the two skeletons; they were frantically running around in circles, screaming as if they were being chased by some sort of invisible creature.
"WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING?!"
Stepping forward, Dream replied "I- sorry..."
"WEL- I mean, it's okay," My voice was a lot quieter now, since calming people down whilst screaming doesn't really work. "Sorry for shouting."
"No!" He shouted. I jumped a little and hit my head on the back of the bench.
By now, I had already zoned out.
'Why do these skeleton's keep trying to give me a heart attack by screaming and making me jump out of my skin?'
•Because you're a glitch and the game's trying to get rid of you anyway it can.
As I heard this, Dream was in the middle of talking to - well - me, I suppose. I guess he was finishing off what he had just said seconds before but it's hard to recall your surroundings when you're zoned out.
"...I'm- I mean we're sorry for screa-"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN "glitch"?! FIGHT ME VOICE IN MY HE-" The two's eyesockets were now on my. Concern and confusion were visibly plastered onto their faces as they stared.
"Umm- I mean, apollo- apology accepted...?"
At least two minutes has passed and they were still staring at me. I, being the introvert I am, became bright red (or F/C). It's not often that two skeletons stare at you for the longest amount of time anyone had ever stared at you, beating a record of 48.667 seconds when that kid was trying to creep you out in math class.
"Uh- A-Are you gonna- uHMMmM- H-Hello? Haha funny now pl-please stop staring at m-me!" Wow I sounded like one of those characters from anime. What do they call them? Dandearrs? Yeah, a dandearrs. I sounded like a dandearrs and my eyes were looking everywhere but their faces; making eye contact - or even eye-to-eye socket contact - would have been pretty awkward... or at least for me.
"...Are you okay?!" A Dream asked, panicking due to the fact that I had literally just spoke to myself, or at least that's what I thought it was at the time.
The pretty skeleton pushed blueberry out of the way and felt my forehead, causing the blue skeleton to grumble in annoyance. If he was trying to take my temperature, I surely messed up his chances because before he even touched my head, I was only a tad warm but now the heat of my forehead had grown to such an extent that I could have been classified as some sort of fire monster.
"Your face is really hot- I MEAN- UH...YOUR FOREHEAD IS HOT- I MEAN WARM. IN OTHER WORDS, I THINK YOU ARE ILL!"
"S-Sure"I had hoped that he would take his hand off of my face by now but that hadn't happened. For some unknown reason, he was... staring at me, with his cheekbones dusted with a light shade of gold. His eye lights seemed to be locked with mine. I, being the introvert I was and still am, struggled to maintain the eye contact. Sure, it was awkward and all but I thought that it was one of those special moments that you could never get back if you messed it up so I tried my best, even if I probably looked like a nervous and scared child.
Meanwhile, Blueberry looked annoyed. He was constantly looking at Dream with an expression that could be read as "You betrayed me, Pretty." At that moment in time, I had literally no idea what he was so upset about. We're we leaving him out? Did he want to talk to Dream? Pfft, I didn't know so I just stayed with my back pushed against the bench. Did I forget to mention that Pretty's hand was no longer on my forehead but now next to my shoulder? Well, if I did, you know now. Little did I know, he was actually trying to tell me something. What is was, I forgot but it was something to do with me and some skeledudes.
All was interrupted with one swift throat clearing from Blue, which is strange because he doesn't have a throat to clear.
"Yeah, Blue?" Dream asked his friend, low-key annoyed at himself that he had just blew his chance at telling me that one thing.
"OH, NOTHING!" Blueberry then motioned for Dream to go over to him. Dream did this and Blue told him- wait I don't know what he said. It was probably something surprising as Dream's expression had changed when they both came back.
