When I woke up, Brendon was already awake and on his phone.

"Hey, baby," I said, getting up and chilling beside him.

Today was our last day at the hospital; after that, Marie would get to see her new home.

"Hey Faelecia, you're finally up!" Brendon laughed. I smiled and pecked his cheek.

"When's check out?" I asked.

"At eleven, in one hour. We gotta get ready." He said. We both got up and Brendon was already dressed, so I took clothes out of my packed bag and went to the bathroom in our room, changing in those.

When I got out, the room was so clean it even seemed to me like no one was there.

"How did you clean that fast?" I asked, laughing a bit as Brendon seemed proud of what he did.

"So we can take Marie now and go home, or we can spend the hour here." He said.

"No, I wanna go home so bad."  I laughed. Brendon smiled and we went to the nursery to pick up Marie. She was asleep, but the nurse gently picked her up and gave her to me.

"I'll go park the car in front, be ready, okay babe?" He asked, kissing my cheek. I nodded and gently walked outside. Brendon had the suitcases with him, so he loaded them in the car with him. I walked outside and waited approximately three minutes until I saw the car pull up.

"Sorry if I took long, I was putting the baby seat in." He apologized. I nodded and put Marie in the baby seat, tying her up and then going to the front seat. Brendon went in the driver's seat and drove off at a nice pace.

"I can't believe we're parents right now," Brendon said. I was so tired that I could barely comprehend what he said.

"Sorry, I'm tired, what did you say?" I asked. Brendon laughed.

"It's fine doll. I mean, you just had our kid. It's fine if you're tired or cranky or have mood swings, I'll understand."

I smiled and placed my hand on his cheek.

"God, don't I love you!" I said, just rubbing my hand on his face. Brendon had a soft face and a nice hard jawline.

"I love you too, dollface!" He smiled, continuing to drive. The hospital was close to our house, so it wouldn't take us a long time to get back home.

"Honey, we're home." He said, opening his door and running to mine, just to open it.

"Thanks, baby!" I smiled, getting Marie from out of the backseat. Brendon went to the trunk and took the suitcases out.

"I'll take two trips, is that fine?" He asked. I nodded.

"Of course it's fine, you're bringing all the stuff in," I said, going inside because Brendon gave me the key. Since Marie was still asleep, I took her out of her seat and placed her in her crib, which was in our room.

"Babe, where do I put the-" I ran to him and covered his mouth with my hand.

"Shh, Marie is trying to sleep!" I whispered.

"Oh, sorry!" He apologized, grabbing my hand and pulling us to the living room.

Before I knew it, his lips were pressed against mine. He had one hand on the back of my head and the other on my back, just for support. I sort of melted, but because of his hand, I didn't fall. I kissed back with everything I had as he did too. After a few seconds, he moved his hand that was on my head to my back, and he continued kissing me, finally letting go after a second.

"God, you are an amazing kisser." I regained my breath.

"Why thank you!" He laughed, sitting on the couch.

"I'm gonna go organize, so I'll be right back," I said, going to our room and placing everything together. It feels nice cleaning, so nice.

I walked out of the bedroom in look for my breast-pump, which Brendon might have left in the car.

"Brendon, do you know where my pump is?" I asked, watching Brendon make food.

"Um, yeah, I think it's in the car. The keys are on the counter." He said, pointing to the keys. I took them and went to the car, opening the trunk to find my breast pump and a bag of pacifiers.

Might as well bring those in too.

"Brendon, you forgot the pump and the bag of pacifiers in the trunk," I said, walking in with those in my hand. Brendon smiled and then laughed.

"Sorry, Fae! But at least we have them now." He said, going and taking the stuff from my hand.

"I'll put it in the room, you should take a nap, you seem really tired." He said. He walked off and I followed him to the room.

"Can I have your phone so I can silently play your Spotify playlist?" I asked. He smiled and took his phone out.

"Of course, here you go!" He handed me his phone. I unlocked it and went to Spotify, turning his volume down until there was one bar showing, then shuffled the two-thousand playlist.

I fell asleep peacefully, thinking about Marie, Brendon, and the beautiful family we're going to have.

(Hey! It's me, the author! So, as you all know, this is the third book, so I'm gonna make this book shorter than the other ones. I just wanted to make the third book so there wasn't a second book that was huge, so I might write a few more chapters and end the book. Much love -Faelecia!)
