the face you put on everyday is terrifying,
don't you see that we look for you, even still you just let our souls wander in the darkness
reminding us that the pain has to come before the solace runs through our veins of fire
we're living for you hope, we will die trying to find you
will you then take of the petrifying mask and reveal your radiant wings
hope, why are you enigmatic?
you led us to the path of desolation
can you understand our frustration
please take off the mask of trepidation
so i can recognize those comforting eyes that got me this far
i've now seen the truth
it's. nothing. like. you. said. it. was.
please redeem the youth
