"Hey, um, do you really think this is a good idea?" (y/n) asked Souda, your courageous boyfriend, as they approached the haunted house.
"It'll be fine! Plus, you have me here to protect you!" He flashed a toothy grin at you, trying to coax you in.
You give in, "But I want a kiss! Y'know, for courage!" He blushes heavily and gives you a quick peck on the head.
"That's better! Okay, let's go!" Both of you started running to the entrance, hand in hand.
You two arrive in front of the haunted house, both of you shaking. (Although Souda was shaking a little more...) The house had a rollercoaster cart, already filled with other couples and some kids, leading into the house. The house was large and dark, with cartoonish ghosts 'floating' around.
He shakily grabbed the tickets from one of his pockets and handed them to the carnie, who gestured to the last available cart.
It was the very first one.
Souda gulped so loud, you could hear him as he shakily stepped onto the cart, almost slipping.
"Be careful!" You scolded, jumping into the cart yourself. You were scared too, but he looked as if he was going to pass out. You shut the door, and the carnie started pulling some switches to start the ride.
Souda's hand entertwined with yours, and he buried his head into your shoulder. You laid your cheek on his head, trying to comfort him a little.
The ride shook and groaned, finally starting up and moving. Souda let out a little yelp, clutching your hand even tighter. And the ride took off.
Honestly? It wasn't that scary. Sure you jumped once or twice, but overall, you enjoyed yourself! But throughout the entire ride, Souda screamed. Especially when the severed head popped down from the ceiling and almost hit you two.
The ride finally ended, and you had to help Souda down he was shaking so bad. He was a wreck! He was blushing hard from crying, and he could barely walk from the shaking.
"Hey, how about some ice cream to make you feel better?" You smiled warmly. "I'll pay."
"That'd be nice."
