Louise coughed; to her, Dan's actions were on the strange side, but she pushed them to the side when she remembered all he had on his plate, he must be nervous. She decided to change the subject when her eyes met Phil's bandage on his wrist.

"Oh Phil, what happened to your wrist?" she asked with a worried expression on her face.

Phil, before answering, looked over to his best friend who was looking at his hand underneath the table. By gripping his hand earlier he accidentally cut into his skin, just like he did to Phil yesterday, but before his very eyes, Phil saw the holes close up, almost like magic. Dan wiped the excess blood on his jeans and looked up at Phil who gave him a smile, a loose one at that.

"Oh, um well I....ran into our screen door, but this time there was a loose nail, that-uhh cut me," Phil answered quickly.

Louise and PJ looked at each other and nodded, knowing Phil, that was something that would definitely happen so they took that answer as the truth, not asking again.

About twenty minutes later the waiter came back and placed each plate in front of the correct person. Phil smiled when he looked at his sandwich and soup, he looked up at Louise and PJ who were laughing about something, they ate their food with smiling faces. When he looked over at Dan though, he got a different kind of vibe. Dan was just staring down at his steak, his face expressionless. Phil looked and saw that yet again, his friend was clawing at his jeans, so much, in fact, that he was starting to create long, large holes in his jeans.

Phil gulped.

All Dan wanted to do was pick up his steak with his claws and pull the succulent, juicy meat from the bone with his fangs, he felt trying to form. His primal instinct was screaming at him to do it, but he couldn't, he just couldn't, not here, not now. Dan looked up and caught Louise and PJ staring at him, he began to snarl loudly as if they were going to take it from him, as if they wanted it. The wolf side of Dan's conscience yelled, "This is your's, not theirs, protect your food at all costs!"

Phil caught sight of all the people staring and did something so stupid to stop the madness that would soon withhold. He picked up his drink and "accidentally" spilled it all over his shirt. This made Dan stop growling and look over as Phil stood up and looked down at his now wet t-shirt. People stopped staring as Louise and PJ looked over to Phil, that's exactly what he wanted, all the attention on him.

"Oh clumsy me, I spilled drink all over my nice, clean shirt,"

"Dan," Phil said picking his best friend up by his arm and pulling him up from his seat, "Why don't you help me dry this off, ok?"

Phil started walking away, still holding Dan's arm.

"Ooh-k."

Phil led Dan to the bathroom and made sure no one was in there with them before he started to panic.

"What was that?' Phil asked frantically.

Dan turned away from his friend, embarrassed. "I- I don't know, something just came over me."

Phil shook his head in annoyance as he grabbed some paper towels to wipe off his wet shirt.

"Something came over you all right, you started growling at Louise when she asked why you were getting a rare steak and then you start snarling at both of them for just looking at you!"

Dan grimaced when he remembered what he had done, he began to get nervous, you could tell by the docile way he hung his head low.

"Do you know why you were doing that?" Phil asked throwing away the wet paper towels.

Dan turned back to his friend and shook his head.

"You were being territorial Dan, wolves get that way when it comes to pack members, mates or in this instance, prey. In your eyes, you saw Louise as a potential threat, When she asked: why are you getting that, that's gross? You had it in your mind, that she said that, because she didn't want you to have your 'kill' as if she was going to take it away from you. I saw it in your face Dan, the expression of a killer beast about to pounce!" Phil yelled waving his hands in the air frantically.

Phil yelled so loud that he had become red in the face, all Dan could do was look at his friend through sudden tears, Phil took a deep breath in and calmed himself down.

"I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to fire off at the mouth like that."

Dan turned around and looked in the bathroom mirror, he put both hands on the counter and bowed his head. He looked up and saw his eyes gleaming a bright yellow and both sets of fangs were out.

"You know what, maybe going to Playlist Live and doing this tour isn't the best idea."

Phil walked over to him as Dan turned his head to look at him, the lights flickered as the drool fell from Dan's top canine, making Phil stop for a second in the middle of the bathroom. Dan turned the faucet on and splashed cold water on his face. He looked up and saw that his face had gone back to normal. Dan straighten back up and turned around to look at Phil.

"No- we have to do this, as I've said before I'm not bringing you down with me, I'm not going to let you suffer because of what has happened to me, I- I can keep it under control." He said putting his hands on his hips.

"Dan, I know you can keep under control."

Dan put his arms down, his face full of regret and sadness.

"But can the wolf keep control?"

Dan didn't know what to say as Phil turned around and faced the bathroom door.

"Answer me this Dan, you saw Louise as a threat." Phil turned his head slightly as he touched the door knob to turn it.

"How does the wolf see me?"

Phil left, leaving Dan standing there in the middle of the bathroom, the lights flickering.
