In the meantime a woman comes and says,
"I can't suggest myself; I want a book to read."
Elizabeth couldn't answer; she had empty face;
"A Christmas Carol." He tells that woman quickly.

He says, "Story is about Ebenezer Scrooge."
"He is an old miser, who is visited by three ghosts."
"Into kinder and gentler, they transform this miser Scrooge."
"This story is inspiring and famous coast to coast."

Elizabeth is stunned; And she is impressed,
The way he suggested this book to that lady.
"Please work with me." Elizabeth requests.
He replies: "Why not my friend; I am ready."

Edmar was his name; and says, "Told you I'm Angel."
"I just helped you; and you were in trouble."
Elizabeth starts laughing; she is now cheerful.
Edmar says, "Working with you would be honourable."

Everyday they meet; they now work together.
Laughs and smiles have returned to Elizabeth's life.
She feels inside that Edmar is like a shoulder,
Who makes her feel good even in the time of strife.

Some days pass; they become good friends.
Their friendship now touches new heights,
And quite often, both of them go out on weekends.
For Edmar, one day, a poem Elizabeth writes.

Secretly she writes:

"Blissful smile and joyful laugh;
Beautiful day and delightful night.
Staying for a while and a little bit far,
Was the month of May,
Dissolved in sight.

Flower in hand; and in a lovely glade,
Behind it hidden the faces which remain;
Moment in this place and preventer shades,
Are being overtaken by itching sunrays.

Those cries, these scars,
This broken heart and weary eyes,
Will gradually blend; and are nearly gonna end,
Because I have met with an angel and a friend ."
