Avengers x reader oneshots

I'm not worthy (Thor x reader)

This will be after age of ultron, and you're the faithful assistant of the avengers because Tony said so, and bribed you with a nice allowance.

Third person POV
All the avengers we're tired, physically, mentally, and for some, emotionally. Wanda is trying to move on from Pietro's death, Natasha is hoping Bruce is alright, and a certain (H/C) girl is worried about the blond, beautiful, and thunder wielding god. As she is looking out her bedroom window, she sees the sky and remembers the conversation she had with the God before the little party the billionaire made for retrieving Loki's scepter.

Flash back
The (H/C) girl walks to her room, which is next to a certain god's bedroom, in which as she passes his room she feels as though something is off. Curious, she presses her ear to his door and hears something she thought she would never hear from his room, sniffling. Out of interest and concern, she backs up a little and knocks on his door, "Thor? Is everything okay in there?" She then hears a weak voice call out, "Um yes, everything is just fine lady Y/N..."
"No it's not I heard sniffling, Thor please open the door..."
"..."
Irritated at this she speaks in a more strict, yet determined voice, "Thor Odinson! You will open this door immediately and let me in or else I will have to do it myself!" Then with regret and worry she softly says, "...please"
And with that she hears footsteps coming toward the door, and when the footsteps stop, the door then slowly opens revealing a gloomy and grim faced Thor.
"Oh Thor..."
"I believe you wanted to enter..."
"Oh! Yeah! Sorry"
"It is quite alright"
He then fully opens the door and then steps to the side, one arm holding the door and the other stretched out, showing her that she is invited in. The girl then says a quick 'thank you' and entered the room.
"It's really nice in here"
"'Tis nothing like the one I have at home, but yes, it is 'nice'"
With that said, the girl then gives a warm smile and a cute little giggle to which he returns with a small one.
"Finally!"
"What?"
"Hehe you're smiling!! I was so worried that you'd be carrying a sad frown the whole day!!"
Then Thor smiles bigger after hearing that.
"...so...will you tell me what's wrong?"
After that, he returns to reality and gives a small frown, " oh...yes of course"
He then shuts the door and locks it, then joins the curious yet concerned girl on the bed. And as he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, he then opens them and hesitantly tells her about his last adventure, with the dark elves, Loki dying, and worst of all, Jane dumping him.
"She told me that she couldn't stand having to wait for me for years and having the stress of the danger I bring back, she, how you midguardians say 'called it off'"
"Oh Thor..."
"Is this how it feels? Having your heart being ripped to shreds?" By the time he says this, his voice starts to break a lot, and what was suppose to be a few tears falling, became two rivers flowing down his cheeks. The girl felt like crying right there and then, but instead made a sad face and wiped the tears away. She the looks at him lovingly, and then smiles saying,
"You know what?"
"What?"
"Jane made a mistake, besides, none of this is your fault, because for you danger is normal, but for Jane it's sort of not. It's not your fault she can't handle getting use to your casualties, it's hers,"
"And if it's any consolation, Any girl who can't handle being with the mighty and kind Thor, is not worthy."
The god smiled a genuine smile, in which the girl happily returns, "thank you, lad-"
"Thor, I consider you as my best friend, therefore don't put in the 'lady' thing, just, call me Y/N ok?"
"I understand, thank you...Y/N"
"No prob bob"
"But my name is Th-"
"It's an expression"
"Oh ok"
"Well then let's get ready for the party shall we?"
"Yes, let us prepare for the 'party'"
"Hehe well, see you there"
"Until then Y/N"
Flashback end
The girl smiled at the memory, she then turned her head to the left, towards a little picture standing on her nightstand by her bed. Seeing the picture happily reminded her of the good results after the avenger's battle with ultron, A memory she will always hold dear...

Flashback
Thor and Y/N were walking with Tony and Steve have their lovely conversation...
"No. It's not like a person lifting the hammer"
"Right. Different rules for us"
"Nice guy, but artificial"
"Thank you"
"If he can wield the hammer, he can keep the mind stone. It's safe with the vision and these days, safe is in short supply"
"I'm gonna agree with Thor on this one"
Tony then mumbles,"of course you would"
"What?"
"Hm? Nothing"
"Riiiight..."
"But if you put the hammer in an elevator..."
"It would still go up"
"Elevator's not worthy"
"I'm going to miss these little talks of ours"
"Well, not if you don't leave"
"I have no choice. The mind stone is the fourth of the infinity to show up in the last few years. That's not a coincidence. Someone has been playing an intricate game and has made pawns of us. But once all these pieces are in position..."
"Triple Yahtzee?"
"You think you can find out what's coming?"
"I do. Besides this one, there's nothing that can't be explained."
"We'll miss you Thor, I-I'll miss you, I kinda wish I could tag along but this seems very serious, and I don't think I'm that tough, skilled or even powerful to help take down this person, heck! I don't even need to try to lift the hammer to know that I'm not worthy..."
Y/N looks down shyly while rubbing the back of her neck, at this Thor just smiles and grabs her hand, at this Y/N thought he would kiss her hand, like the gentlemen he is, but instead, he just says,"Are you for certain?" At this, he turns her hand, palm facing up, places the handle of mjolnir in her hand, closes her finger around it and let's go, the
(H/C) yelps and quickly shuts her eyes, waiting for the hammer to drop, along with her, but instead she opens one eye, and slowly opens the other.
There, her hand still stays where it has been, with mjolnir still in her hand, at this she quickly comes to a realization,
'I can lift Thor's hammer?!' She stares at her hand in shock, then looks at Steve and Tony, who's eyes could pop out at any second, mouths agape, she then looks back at her hand, then to Thor, then back at her hand, then back at Thor,"This...I...uh" with amusement, Thor chuckles at the speechless girl.
"This I am not surprised at, for you are the most worthy human mortal I know, and I believe..." he then comes closer and leans more to her so that their faces were an inch apart, then holds her hands, along with mjolnir, never breaking eye contact,"that you are worthy to wield my heart, and I swear by Odin's eye, when I return, I'll make sure to find you, so we may have an official courtship and go on what midguardians call 'dates' if you like to..."
She then tilts her head down a little, confusing Thor, "No..." he smile was faltering, but then he was surprised when her head tilted back up showing a loving smile, "I'd love to..."
His faltering smile turned into a wide grin, and he without hesitation, smashes his lips into hers, the girl's eyes became wide, but slowly closed as she melted into the kiss.
They then broke apart, grins never leaving their faces, but they then remembered they weren't alone, both looked at Tony and Steve, who's jaws dropped to the ground, the two laughed at the sight and returned their gazes to each other, Thor gently takes back mjolnir and bows in front of Y/N,"Until then my lady" he then takes her hand, stands up and gently kisses her knuckles, giving her a heart melting smile. He then returns to Asgard, but of course leaving a burned marking on the grass.
"That man has no regard for lawn maintenance. I'm gonna miss him though," as he speaks the three walk towards Stark's car, "And you're gonna miss me. There's gonna be a lot of manful tears."
"I will miss you Tony, but I'll probably miss N/N more"
"Yeah? Well it's time for me to tap out. Maybe I should take a page out of Barton's book and build Pepper a farm, hope nobody blows it up"
"The simple life"
"You'll get there one day"
"I don't know, family, stability. The guy who wanted all that went in the ice seventy-five years ago I think someone else came out" Stark and Y/N then start getting in the car, "you alright?"
"I'm home..."
"Well, see ya Stevie!"
"Bye N/N!"
"What? no bye for me?"
The two chuckle, the Steve stops and speaks,"...bye Tony"
"See ya cap!" He then starts the car and looks back at Steve through the window, "Now then if you'll excuse us, I'll have to have a talk with my assistant"
As the car drives out Steve hears Y/N whining and arguing with Tony, causing him to chuckle once again...
Flashback end

Her smile never fades as she looks back at the window, chuckling, and touching her lips, remembering the feeling, she whispers, "I'll be waiting..."

Well that was pretty long, and yet again I had fun writing this, but if you guys have any one shot ideas I'd be happy to put them in the book, Byeeee!
