Maddie stared at Mrs.Steph and right as Steph opened her mouth Maddie ran away crying not hearing any news.
"So?"I asked.
"Dewey has Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease,"She said.
"Isn't that like aesma for horses?"I asked.
She nodded.
I saw Dewey and grabbed the reins knowing he was suffering.I put my hand on his face and he wasn't breathing as hard but he still need rest.
I could hear someone crying and I knew who and where it was coming from.
I opened Deweys stall door and saw Maddie crying.
"Hey,"I whispered.
She looked up wipping tears off her face and replied, "hey," and I could hardly hear her.
I walked him in rembering Mrs.Steph had Deweys saddle.I took off his bridle and left him alone.
He immediately laid down probably because Steph gave him some medicine for it.
"Abbie I don't even want to know what's happening to him,"She sniffed.
I sat beside her.
She closed her eyes and sighed and asked,"if I have to put Dewey down.....will you be there for me?"
"I will be there and support any of you desisions,"I assured.
She leaned against me and I shouted, "Oak!"
I jumped up and sprinted to the paddock where I released Oak and saw the mare trotting around.
I grabbed the lead rope and clipped it to Oak leading her to her stall.I felt like tomorrow I should ride Oak and by felt I mean WILL ride Oak Tommorow.
I ran to Molly and noticed she had a full water bucket and I gave a sigh of relieve knowing Max did my chores.
[Thank God!]
I was just about to go inside when I heard people screaming.
I whipped my head around and I saw Max,Dad,Chandler,Mia,the eight girls except Maddie so the seven girls and two boys.
I ran over and asked, "What's going on?"
"Chocolate got out!"Dad told me swinging his leg over the saddle.
He had a gorgeous white quarter horse with a brown sock and so I ran over to Max's black paint and poked his leg and asked, "can I help?"
"I mean yeah,"he exclaimed kicking Colorado sides.
I saw everyone was going in the pastures and not on the trails so I ran to Oak.
I grabbed a westrn bridle and western saddle and a red and black and white striped saddle pad.
I mounted Oak and kicked my heels in her sides and galloped to a trail.
I leaned up when we went over a log and then I stopped her.
Thump,thump,thump.
I looked around and saw the dark brown mane of Chocolate and then saw the young chestnut face.
"Come on lets get him!"I told Oak.
We jumped over a bush and we were right behind him so I pulled to the right of him.
I tossed the lasso and it sailed through the air before landing around his neck.
I halted quickly and Choclate stopped running once he ran out of rope.
