Chapter Four

{Chapter 4: Crushes}

Day 3, 2 more days till the finals.

Pidges P.O.V

"Takashi stop!" I giggled as he tickled me. "Shiro, aren't you suppose to be studying with her? Not fooling around?" Mia asked walking setting the tings down on her desk. "Yea but I got my work done early today so I thought we could just hang in here til you got back." Shiro replied as quitted down my laughter. "I guess so, you two have become quiet good friends over the last days, haven't you?" I nodded and started to get my stuff together. "Allura wanted to hang out at the mall mom, do you think I can go?" I rolled my eyes at the mention of her name, the last few days sense I started talking to Shiro she has been bullying me ten times worse then normally. "I guess"

 "Pidgey are you doing anything?"

I turned around  and glared at Shiro for the nickname. "Your mom and and Lance are wearing off on you." I groaned. "But to answer your question no." I slung my book bag over my shoulder and looked up at Shiro. "Wanna join me and Allura?" Shiro offered. "No thank you." I smiled and started to walk out. Shiro grabbed my arm and spun me around. I blushed a bit and looked into his eyes. I never noticed but his eyes are a really pretty grey tone. We stood like this for a few minutes until Lance cleared his throat loudly. "Are we-"

"No!!" I said moving away from Shiro and hiding behind Keith. "Is she going to the mall with us?" Keith asked smirking a bit. "Wait all of you are going?" I asked now moving away from the mullet man. "Yea duh." Lance said as if I was asking a stupid question. "Oh."

"Hey Lance! Pidgey says she doesn't want to go to the after party for the finals!" Mia chirped from the classroom grabbing her keys. "What! How you not go!! Its going to be so much fun! You are going everyone is going!!" Lance rambled on about how it was important for me to go and meet new people. While he was rambling I was thinking about my moment with Shiro that happened just a moment ago. I think I might have a crush on him, oh my god.

"Shiro look over there!!" Allura was yelling at Shiro and dragging him all over the place. I on the other hand was sitting on a bench with Keith waiting for Lance to get out of the makeup store. "Does he always go in there and make you wait?" I asked looking over to the mullet man. "Yea." Suddenly Lance came running out and grabbed my arm. I looked over to Keith for help but he just sat there and shrugged. "Lance why are you dragging me in there?" I said trying to get away from the tanned boy. "Because I need to pick out your makeup for the party!!" Lance said excitedly. "I'm not going!"

"Oh yea you are! Maybe you might get a boyfriend!" Lance winked at me. I felt a blush spread across my face as a certain person came to my mind. "Now we have to find the proper skin tone for you!!" I rolled my eyes and looked over to see Keith strolling over to us. "Allura wants us to go get outfits for the party." He said in a monotone voice. "But I still need to get makeup!!" Lance whined hugging me. "Off." I warned. "Fine Fine!! But you didn't seem to have a problem when Shiro was tickling you!" Lance muttered. "How do you know about that!!" I whisper yelled. "Mia." Keith replied to me.

Once Lance had gotten the stuff we needed we went to a popular clothing store. "Ohhh Look Pidge this is cute!!" Lance held up a short dress. "One that shows to much skin two you are showing just how gay you are." I crossed my arms over my chest and gave him a dumb look. "Fine then go find your own clothes!" Lance pouted shoving me away from him. "Fine!" I hate this. I started looking threw racks of dress. This all looks to revealing for me.

Why can't I go in some shorts with my crop top and fish net sleeves. I think I'll do that. Keith walked over to me and asked me if I wanted to leave. I shook my head and sighed. "No I don't wanna go home yet. Mom is probably on one of her drinking nights." Keith gave me a sad look and nodded. Shiro walked over with Allura clung to his arm. "Hey guys!" He greeted us with a smile. I felt my heart beat pick up. His smile is so fucking cute. "On second thought Keith can you drive me home?" I nudged him. I think he might get the message. "Oh sure."

"Lance can you hitch a ride with Shiro?" Keith glanced at his boyfriend. "Yea sure!! Oh here Pidge! I'll send you some links so you can know how to apply the makeup!!" Lance handed me my bag of beauty products. "Yea sure whatever." I sighed and took the bag. "That makeup might be good for you Katie! It might cover up that." Allura smirked and pointed at my face. "Allura that was uncalled for!" Shiro pulled away from the girl. "What?! The truth hurts."

"Lets go Keith!" I grabbed him by his sleeve pulling him out of the mall. As soon as we made it in is car  I screamed so loud. "What does he see in that bitch anyway? Why does Shiro hang out with her!? All she does is bully people because she has self esteem issues! I mean I know I'm not pretty but I think I look decent right? I never even cared about looks before!! she just gets me so fucking angry!!" Keith gave me a small hug and I started to cry. "I hate this! I want Matt back Keith!! I just want to be happy and not have a fucking drunk mother and depression!" I started to explode. I keep everything bottled up and when one thing sets me off I just let it all go. Matt told me I always did this.

"You like Shiro huh?" Keith noted. "I do. I didn't mean for it to happen." I muttered. Keith started the car. "You know I'm not good at advice but, just keep doing what you are doing I;m things will be fine okay?" I nodded wiping away my tears.

--- No ones P.O.V

Keith, Lance, and Shiro were sitting in Mia's classroom waiting for the bell to ring. Shiro asked Pidge if she wanted to join them. Of course the girl said yes, how could she turn down an invite from her crush. Lance was going on about how he planned the night out for the party until he heard the door opened. He glanced over to find Pidge dressed in different attire then usual. "Holy shit!" Lance blurted out. "What! I looked at the videos and  I thought  I could try it out!? Does it look bad?!" Pidge looked a flushed as she clutched her phone. "No you look good!!"

She was wearing a pastel sweater with some baby blue skinny jeans and had a spikey head band in. Her makeup was light but still pretty noticeable. She had her hair in a braid, she never does anything with her hair but brush it! Pidge pulled her sleeves over her hands and put her hands behind her back. "This is new." Keith comment on her look. "But I like it."

"Thanks.." Was all she small girl could muster out. "Yea Pidge you look cute!" Shiro smiled and complemented her. "R-Really? I wasn't sure if I could pull it off but I- yea.." Pidge went over and sat next to Keith and he chuckled. "Dork." He whispered to her. "Fuck off." She whispered back and smiled. "This doesn't have to do with what Al-"

"No Keith." The two were whispering to each other while Shiro and Lance talked about ther friend Hunk coming back from his trip. "Oh yea Katie hasn't meant Hunk yet has she?" Shiro looked over to the two arguing. "What?" She looked over to Shiro. "Oh no she hasn't."

'Great another person I have to meet.' she thought to herself.
