19. Confessed

When I got to Heartland Academy the next day, I sat on the bench during duel period and watched Yuma and Astral take down a few student duelists. I must say those two make a great team..and sometimes I fell like I dragging them down. Anyway, I left when Tori and Cathy came running up to me.

"Hey, Laur!" Tori excitedly said as we walked. "Whats wrong?"

I think Tori can see threw me any day. "Hmm? Nothing" I lied, but it was hard to tell with my voice so calm, low and quiet. I then bowed head down, thinking of that stupid, little, sudden, kiss. {Yes.. I get worked up over a kiss, It's stupid right?}

Cathy walked over and bend down to my eye level. "You sure? Nya?" She then hugging me and Tori came in too.

"Thanks. I needed that." I smiled, cause I love hugs! When they let go, I stopped walking and saw Astral eyeing me with Yuma waving at me like the maniac he is. I waved back, but felt a pit in my stomach.

"So, see ya later!" I quickly said and I ran off ahead as I waved goodbye at Tori and Cathy.

The bell rung and I walk to five period science class. I was quiet during the science class and I think Caswell, who is in my class, noticed it as well. Before we left, he came over and asked me what was wrong.

"Oh, Caswell. Its nothing." I said trying to out of this as quick as I could.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

I nodded and got up to leave.

Couple hours later, I walked home. When I got inside the house, I immediately went up the stairs. When I got to the last step, Akari walked in with a big bag of groceries and saw me.

"Laur?" she said that so suddenly that I stopped quickly, with my foot about to touch the step.

Then, I jumped and jittered as my mouth said the first thing that came to mind. "ASTRAL KISSED ME!" I yelled, then quickly covered my mouth.

Yuma came threw the door after I said that."What?" He asked.

I uncovered my mouth and tried to hide my horror as I turned to him. "Um...nothing!" I said cheerfully with a slight laugh and running upstairs, leaving Akari and Yuma speechless.

I sat on the floor of the long hallway, back aghast the wall, and head on my lap. When I felt a present and my ears came out and flicked. Something or someone then touched me on both of my shoulders. I looked up quick and blinked. Guess who? It was Astral.

"What is wrong?" he said, leaning in closer... a bit too close. "Tell me."

I growled and bit and gritted my teeth "Leave me alone!" I roared and turning my head. But, he gently cuffed my face and kissed me again! That kiss was so sudden, it knocked me down on my back. I wanted to use what I could in this situation to scoot him away, but I also didn't want to hurt him...badly. When he let go, I pushed him onto the floor and darted out down the hallway.

I kept running at full speed and looking back to see that he wasn't floating behind me. I panted so hard as I turned and when the other way to Yuma and I's room.

"YUMA!" I yelled, catching my breath "As- Astr-." I was so tired at running at full speed that I crashed into my bed.

"What?!" He yelled and came down the latter that connected our rooms. I had no idea he came upstairs during the pass time. "You interrupted my fixing of my deck time!"

I really didn't care as I got the courage and unlazyness to sit ."Astral kissed me twice..." I panted, now I laying down again.

Yuma's eyes popped. "....Wait..What!" then, he paused. After a while of pausing, he titled his head. "...Huh?" I don't think he gets it.

I sighted and rolled my eyes as got up yet again and said. "I think I know why he is doing this..." I panted in between my breathes. But, I must say, I didn't like it.
