I was laying in my bed, nodding my head to the sound of "Seal The Deal" from Volbeat, one of my favorite bands. I had connected my phone with my Bluetooth speaker and turned the music as loud as I could, basically letting in blast trough the entire building.
But I didn't care at the moment. Today had been a pain in the ass, first, I had NO coffee all day because when Izzy and Clary came to wake me up, I had to change in a hurry and there was literally no frickin' time to make some. Then, there was this extremely tiring mission, they wanted to get Clary's mundane friend back from Raphael and Camille in hotel Dumont. In the end, we did get him back but like I said, it was really exhausting. Last, but not least, I had an unnecessary argument with Alec and Izzy about some dumb stuff I couldn't even remember. And I couldn't stand them not talking to me.

I was so focused on my drawing and the music blasting that I didn't even notice the tall brunette boy entering my room. While doing some details on the drawing, the Bluetooth speaker was suddenly turned off. I groaned and looked up, just to lock eyes with the eldest Lightwood.
"What do you want, Alexander?" by now, he should really know that I'm pretty pissed because I normally would never call him that.
"Listen, (Y/N). I came here to apologize and it would be helpful if you would at least pay attention and don't ignore me like some 7 year old"
"Well, that doesn't sound like an apology, Mr. know it all" I snapped and continued the details on my Pegasus drawing
Alec sighed and walked over, snatching the pencil out of my hand and standing above me as I laid on my stomach.
"Don't act like a brat, (Y/N). You know I'm not good at apologizing." he crossed his arms infront of his chest, looking at me.
I turned on my back and sat up, crossing my legs and raising a brow while looking up at him.
"You should stop calling me a brat, that would be a start. Well, go on" I gestured towards him, signaling him to speak. He took a deep breath before taking a seat on the edge of my bed, looking at me with some sort of guilt in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, okay? And I'm sure Izzy's sorry, too. We didn't know you had such a bad day and to argue about something so stupid was just foolish. And to make it up, I want to ask you if you would like to go to that... mundane shop tomorrow, how is it called?"
My eyes widened due to the fact that Alec basically hates mundane stuff and is offering me to go to Starbucks together.
"Who are you and where is that Lightwood idiot?" I suspiciously asked and poked his cheek. His lips twitched up and he couldn't help himself but chuckle about (Y/N)'s silly self.
"I'm not offering again, do you want to go out tomorrow morning or not?" he smirked while waiting for my answer. I was kinda confused, why would Alec do something he hates? I mean, yes, he said he wants to make up but even this was odd, usually one of us (most of the time it was me) just mumbled a "sorry" and after a couple hours, everything went back to normal. Why would he want to really DO something to make me forgive him? I shrugged my shoulders and nodded, smiling slightly.
"Let's do it. Starbucks at 11?" I asked and got a nod from Alec in response before he gave me my pencil back and left the room.
