You just came back from an intense video game session with Simon and walked through the halls of the New York Institute. Simon was the closest you had to a brother and definetly your best friend. You two had a connection from the very start and there were times where you would practially stay at his place for almost a week. Now, with Simon being a vampire, it's not that easy anymore but you still met very often, nothing could seperate the two of you just like that.

As you made it to the bedroom, you were a little suprised to find it empty. Normally, your boyfriend, Alec Lightwood, would be here at this time of the day, you two shared the room since you got together a couple months ago. The relationship of you started after you got hurt on a pretty tough mission and Alec was really afraid to loose you so he confessed his feelings after keeping them to himself for almost 3 months, not even telling Jace (who was really disappointed for like 4 seconds after practically fangirling about what a cute couple you would be) about his true feelings for you. After you told him that you felt the same, the both of you couldn't be happier.

You furrowed your brow but soon shrugged your shoulders. Its a institute after all, he could be at a meeting or training. The last thought caught your attention and you started to walk out of the room, searching for Alec because you hadn't really seen him all day.

When you arrived at the training room, you found Alec shirtless, punching away on the punching bag with what seemed like a pretty angry expression on his perfect face. You frowned, walking over to him and standing beside the punching back with enough space to not get accidentally hit from him or the swinging bag. What really confused you was that, even when he noticed your presence, Alec wouldn't even look at you. He just kept punching his anger away on the poor pag before him.

Trying to get his attention, you cleared your throat and crossed your arms, looking at him with a raised brow. He exhaled loudly before grabbing the punching bag with both hands, holding it in place and looking you dead in the eyes.

"What?" he asked, quiet annoyed from being interrupted

"What? Is that all you have to say to your girlfriend after not seeing her the whole morning?"

"Well, I would've seen her if she wouldn't have run off to go see the downworlder and do some stupid mundane stuff with him" Alec looked really pissed off now, but he wasn't the only one.

"Are you freaking kidding me? You know that I don't get to see Simon as often as I used to, is it so wrong to spend some time with my best friend?!"

You felt really offended by his sudden outburst, you knew that he wasn't the biggest fan of Simon but that didn't give him the right to be like that

"I can't even be sure what you mean with "spending some time" anymore!" he started yelling which was something that got you really mad

"What do you mean by that? What are you trying to say, huh?" You stood in front of him now, looking up at him with fire in your eyes.

"I'm saying that I think you and Simon are having sex behind my back!"

You stopped breathing for a moment, your eyes widening from both shock and the anger rising inside you like a inferno. The thing is, when you get really upset, you don't yell. You actually start to whisper.
