"Well, princes will be princes."

"Agreed Prompto."

"So much for royal protocol."

"Not like you had to deliver a formal address."

As you were half way down the stairs Drautos called.

"Your highness!"

With that everyone turned around to see the king and Drautos making there way down and "What now?" Noctis sighed and went up to meet with the king.

As Noctis went closer the king had put his hand out and said "I fear I have left too much unsaid."

They began walking closer to the rest of you as King Regis said. "You place a great burden on those who bear with you."

"You're one to talk."

"I ask not that you guide my wayward son, merely that you remain at his side."

You nodded and bowed "Of course we will."

Ignis bowed "Yes, Your Grace."

"We'll see the prince off to Altissia if its the last thing we see." with that Gladio also bowed and soon Prompto followed with saying "Yeah, what he said."

"Hate to break this up, but Cor's got the motor running. Drauto's, he's in your hands."

King Regis quickly reached his son.

"And another thing. Do mind your manners around your charming bride-to-be."

Noctis turned around and bowed.
"Your Majesty, as well. Try to mind yours around our esteemed guests from Nifilheim."

"You have no cause for concern."

"Nor do you."

"Take heed. Once you set forth, you cannot turn back."

"You think I would?"

You sighed and crossed your arms as the others went, you were a bit away from King Regis and Prince Noctis but you could still hear what they were talking about.

"I need only know that you are ready to leave your home behind."

"Don't know about you, but I'm as ready as I'll ever be."

As Noctis went to turn he looked over at you before his father rushed towards him again, you smiled and nodded your head towards King Regis.

"Take care on the long road. Where so ever you shall go the line of Lucis goes with you."

King Regis put a hand on Noctis's shoulder "Walk tall, my son."

"I see so before Noctis leaves he wants him to see him as a father for once and not the king.."

You turned to walk to the car and saw Cor.

"Cor, good to see you again."

Cor nodded. "I didn't expect to see you here, I thought you would be with your brother."

"Haha no I got assigned here but yes I guess that would be what you expect."

You said as you got in the back seat.

"Yes, well it is still good to see you are doing well ____. How's your brother?"

"He's fine, he probably is already doing his job, you know him."

Cor nodded. "Well it looks like the King and Noctis are done talking."

You sat in the car with Ignis as the rest of the boys were outside the car. The car broke down and so Gladio was trying to hitch you guys a ride.
